Minneapolis Police Chief: "It has absolutely become an unlawful assembly."

Nope............too much leeway.
Pretending there’s more leeway than there actual is leads to rampant violations of the constitution as we are already seeing.

You’re just telling yourself lies.

Sorry, that was the best copy I could quickly find. His looks has me thinking he may want to distance him self from the craziness.
Hard to say.
So deliberate?

I didn't think about that, but now that you mentioned it, I think you are correct.

Genius. Everyone needs a search warrant without probably cause. I just listed the court cases that ruled states cant deny a person of their 4th amendment right just because there is a detainer. Its a fact that you, nor anyone disputed. Feel free to read them again.
No 4th Amendment violation if they tell ICE when they are releasing the child rapist out of jail

Why did you edit out the rest of my response? You should read Hayes v Florida because it explains that scooping someone up and taking them to the police station clearly indicates an arrest.

The Fourth Amendment does not bar the fingerprinting of a properly seized person. "Fingerprinting involves none of the probing into an individual's private life and thoughts that marks an interrogation or search." See Davis v. Mississippi, 394 U.S. 721, 727 (1969). So long as the initial seizure of the person is reasonable, as in a lawful arrest, subsequent fingerprinting is permissible. It is also possible that the requirements of the Fourth Amendment could be met through "narrowly circumscribed procedures for obtaining, during the course of a criminal investigation, the fingerprints of individuals for whom there is no probable cause for arrest." See Davis v. Mississippi, supra, at 728; see also Hayes v. Florida, 470 U.S. 811 (1985).

If you had actually read any of these cases, you wouldn’t be trying to make this very weak claim.

Where the hell did you come up with the idea that they just brought him in to fingerprint him anyway? You’re being completely delusional.

That's how they verify who you are.

I have read them and know them well. Hayes V Florida is not analogous and doesn't speak to verification of identity of a unknown detainee, it speaks to taking someone known in to undertake investigative actions without a warrant or formal arrest. I concur with the findings.

Shocked at what the mayor is implying and thinking of his department is what I thought.

Court decision pending, Pal.

Except in sanctuary cities.
Remember, these guys are being led by Noem, who didn’t know what habeus corpus means.

So when they tell you they’re acting in accordance with the constitution, you should really wonder if they understand what that means at all.

That's not true. Your lies are piling up.

You got me this time.

DHS law enforcement officers are saving countless American lives with no help from Tim Walz or Jacob Frey

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) highlights more worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens arrested in Minnesota yesterday during Operation Metro Surge, including those convicted of child molestation, rape, assault, making terroristic threats, and domestic violence.

“Minnesota sanctuary politicians have released
nearly 470 criminal illegal aliens from their jails back onto the streets, endangering the lives of Minnesotans every day,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “While Governor Walz, Mayor Frey, and sanctuary politicians fight to protect criminal illegal aliens, DHS law enforcement officers are putting their lives on the line to arrest the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens. Yesterday’s arrests in Minnesota include criminal illegal aliens convicted of child molestation, rape, assault, making terroristic threats, and domestic violence. Since President Trump took office, DHS has arrested over 10,000 criminal illegal aliens in Minnesota, and we are NOT slowing down. Our law enforcement officers are saving countless American lives.”

Which child rapist was arrested and released by a local police organization?
It wouldn't be up to the police.

There's quite a few. Three in my first link.

WASHINGTON – Today the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reminds Americans of the facts after Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey gave an interview this morning in which he failed to take responsibility for his sanctuary policies that RELEASE criminal illegal aliens from jails, including violent criminals, and put them back in American neighborhoods.

Why are they trying to verify who he is?

You’re not being honest. You’re just making excuses.

Because his actions hindered their operations pursuant to the Mn law I posted when you asked earlier.

I am honest. The law doesn’t align with your feelings and that makes you think everyone else is dishonest.
