During the election, when asked directly on a panel discussion if he’d pardon violent rioters, Trump refused to give a clear answer.

I don't agree with Trump on everything (like the open-ended Stargate support) but that's fine as I know he will do more for me and mine than the dems ever thought about doing for the long-neglected producers of the country.

No one was given “life in prison” for tazing an officer, and the fact that you need a straw man is telling how weak your argument is.

I didn’t suggest they were. My question was how long should the expect to serve for such an action.

When you are arguing to pardon people for doing so, you are condoning the violence. This wasn't just arguing for a lesser sentence, this was a pardon.

Many have been held without bond for several years. That does count you know. The sentences handed down to them from the Jan. 6 partisan committee were far out of line.

Who assaulted an officer and what was their sentence? You have no idea as you simply found a talking point and running with it.

Here is just one of many examples. 18 months of assault on a police officer. Keep in mind the sentencing for several of the Jan. 6 rioters was 10+ years.
