The internet has both exposed a lot of them, and empowered a lot of them. They're hypocritical phonies and, IMHO, dangerous.
They're not rational.
I'm not talking about liberals here. I'm talking about the dyed-in-the-wool off-their-chain TDS Far Leftist nut jobs. And there are a lot of them out there in the world nowadays.
Amen to that, sister. The internet has both exposed a lot of them, and empowered a lot of them.
Good thing there was no internet in Hitler’s time.
IMO, honorable people condemn hateful, unacceptable behavior that is hateful and unacceptable regardless of who does it. It is just as bad when a Christian or Atheist woman, etc., goes after a Jewish woman because of that woman's opinion or beliefs as it is bad for a Jewish woman to go after other Jews or Christians or Atheists or anybody else for their opinions or beliefs.Yes, agree with all that - but my point is that it is extra-bad when a Jewish woman goes after Jews with her nasty vitriol and threatening behavior. This was at a Jewish event.
It’s another example of radical left Jews prioritizing their liberalism over their Judaism.
His being a "piece of shit" is irrelevant here as being a piece of shit is not against the law. All he was doing was having dinner. The idiots harassing him were the ones breaking the law and causing a ruckus.Bessett is a disgusting piece of maga shit, and you're pouting because somebody pointed that out. If he doesn't like what happened, he could always stop being such a piece of shit.
Nope. You can't pass off a personal opinion as fact. The owner of the bakery was prejudice. I’m not prejudiced against Bessent. I know he’s a piece of shit.
Only when it goes against someone he dislikes. Until blood is spilled, it’s all accceptable.Wow. That's your threshold for unacceptable behavior? Physical violence?
MIDs have difficulty making that distinction.Nope. You can't pass off a personal opinion as fact.
Those crazy women should have been kicked out of that restaurant.Yes. They said we’re going to spit in his food.
The restaurant owner either was a MID himself, or he was scared of them. Those crazy women should have been kicked out of that restaurant.
So they threatened his food.Yes. They said we’re going to spit in his food.
fact. Restaurants can deny service to people when it’s not based on a protected class.Nope. You can't pass off a personal opinion as fact.
ANd being a threatening, obnoxious, MID who is harassing one’s customers is not a protected class. The owner should have thrown the MID out.fact. Restaurants can deny service to people when it’s not based on a protected class.
That's not what I was talking about. You can't present a personal opinion ("I’m not prejudiced against Bessent. I know he’s a piece of shit.") as if it is fact. Your personal opinion of the guy is not relevant to the fact that all he was doing was having dinner and a bunch of yahoos created a disturbance to harass him.fact. Restaurants can deny service to people when it’s not based on a protected class.
It’s the owner’s restaurant and they decide who to throw out.ANd being a threatening, obnoxious, MID who is harassing one’s customers is not a protected class. The owner should have thrown the MID out.
WHY DIDNT HE, and why are you OK with that? The hateful MID - and as mentioned, Code Pink is one of the worst! - was allowed to rant and rave and disturb multiple customers’ dining experience.
The owner was WRONG. And you’re defending his behavior.
And hopefully we see more of the Prog media/entertainers leave the world like Reiner. And no Republicans have risen up to do it.Same way a baker of cakes can refuse service to people whose sexuality they disagree with.
Free speech cuts both ways.
If I were the restaurant owner, my personal opinion of Bessent is all I need to refuse to seat him in my establishment. That's not what I was talking about. You can't present a personal opinion ("I’m not prejudiced against Bessent. I know he’s a piece of shit.") as if it is fact. Your personal opinion of the guy is not relevant to the fact that all he was doing was having dinner and a bunch of yahoos created a disturbance to harass him.
There is simply no way to spin this to justify harassing someone in public while doing nothing more than having dinner.
It’s their restaurant. They’re free to make their own choices about who they serve and who they don’t.
Did anyone hurt Bessent?
If I were the restaurant owner, my personal opinion of Bessent is all I need to refuse to seat him in my establishment.
Depends on the state. Can a baker refuse to bake a cake for a gay couples wedding?
