Microsoft isn't stopping at just their employees. They are also requiring all vendors and guests to be vaccinated. They will accommodate anyone with health or religious standing that prevents them from being vaccinated.

Facebook, Google and Disney are also requiring vaccinations too.

The government won't be the ones who mandate the vaccines.

It is mostly private business. The courts have already ruled that private business has the right to require vaccines.

Personally, I wish that requirements and mandates of any sort weren't imposed. Unfortunately private business has been giving a lot of power by the conservatives and our courts so now a private business can require that a person get a vaccine.

People have the right to freedom of choice. Just as a lady in one of the articles says.

However people aren't exempt from the consequences of their choices. You can't make a bad choice and expect to not get bad consequences because of that choice.

These same people expect themselves to only have that right to free choice. Those who have been vaccinated have the right to make the choice to not be around not vaccinated people. Those who own a business have the right to make the choice to keep their employees safe and healthy.

Should private businesses be allowed to fire women who have abortions?

And we have the right to not patronize these businesses. It will be interesting to see the discrimination suits that will arise from these business' actions. The first time they refuse a healthy unvaccinated person.

Good. Apparently their shitty policies and practices are not enough to drive significant business away from them. Maybe this will.

The government has asked and encouraged business to violate rights when the government is prohibited from doing so. Some. Businesses are ignoring the demand and some are prohibiting the vaccinated. Do you support the right of businesses to prohibit the vaccinated?

The ignorant wokeist doesn't realize that even the vaccinated will avoid these businesses.

Yep... and pretty soon, if the PTB keep putting increased pressure on Americans who don't want to be part of a lab experiment, the same is going to hold true for those pushing the shots. Are you people really naive enough to think Americans won't fight back if their families are being starved or refused other medical treatment?

Fascism. Corporations, and government, locked at the foreskin.
They're not locked. These companies don't give a shit what the governments wants. They're playing legal CYA. They have to weigh the risks of getting sued because they demanded people were vaccinated vs the risks of getting sued because they didn't do anything to protect their people from COVID. The courts will decide if they guessed right.

Private business should be "allowed" to fire anyone, for any reason they want. This idea that they have to justify such a decision to the state is ludicrous.

It's not just going to end with private corporations mandating vaccinations. Insurance companies are expected to raise their premiums if you are not vaccinated.

Which makes sense. If there is one thing insurance/healthcare companies are good at, it is the avoidance of high risk. And, people who refuse to be vaccinated sure do fall in that category.

That will be interesting. You see, My not being vaccinated for Covid is a pre-existing condition.
