One of the many advantages of living in a secular Constitutional Republic is that its citizens are subject solely to the rule of law, not men, as men are incapable of ruling justly – that there are those who would seek to deny gay Americans their civil liberties based on subjective religious dogma is proof of that.

You're at liberty to believe in your Christ and his teachings, even if you perceive those teachings as advocating for ignorance and hate; but you are not at liberty to seek to codify that ignorance and hate in secular law.

Adults, whether homosexual or heterosexual, do not have the right to have sex with children.
