Michael Jordan could soon face some heat following a huge fire in California, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department investigators would like to speak to M.J. about a criminal arson investigation.
It took 250 firefighters more than 4 1/2 hours to contain a fire that had spread over 25 acres last Saturday next to the Rancho San Marcos golf course, where Jordan and about a dozen friends were playing golf.
"While we do not believe Mr. Jordan is personally responsible for starting the fire, our investigators have been told members of his party could have started it, and we would like to speak to Mr. Jordan to learn more about their group," a fire department spokesman told ESPN Hollywood. "So far, we are not getting any cooperation from him."
Criminal charges could be filed against whomever is responsible for starting the fire.
