Looks like if they are already in the ad library, you are stuck with them anyway. It sounds like a ban on "New" ads, only not ads already in the system, which will continue to run.

Strange thing was........it was the first time I had seen any political ads at all this year.

If they can get their ad in before Tuesday Nov 1st, they should be golden. As far as I know, there isn't another debate between those two scheduled, is there?
 
You don't need facebook to run ads anyway.

Seems like they're overly full of their own self-importance.

In previous cycles, perhaps the platform was useful for that.

But not so much any more.
