On to the appeals.
Right, I forgot, any member of the judiciary who enforces the rule of law against trump is by your definition corrupt. Cuz..........Dear Leader.
Any idea if the appeals court is stacked with trumples like the SC?
Judge Denies Trump’s Bid to Throw Out Conviction Over Immunity Ruling
A judge on Monday rejected Donald J. Trump’s argument that a recent Supreme Court ruling had nullified his criminal case in New York, upholding the former and future president’s felony conviction for falsifying records to cover up a sex scandal.
The judge’s ruling preserves, at least for now, the stain of Mr. Trump’s criminal conviction. And if it withstands Mr. Trump’s appeal, it will make him the first felon to serve as president.
The ruling, which addressed the Supreme Court’s decision to grant presidents broad immunity for their official actions, thwarted only the first of several legal maneuvers Mr. Trump has concocted to clear his record of 34 felonies before returning to the White House.
Prosecutors had argued that the Supreme Court’s decision had “no bearing on this prosecution,” noting that Mr. Trump was convicted of orchestrating a scheme involving a personal and political crisis that predated his presidency.

All most of us want is accountability for crimes committed.
Equating a presidential pardon for crimes rarely prosecuted and SC immunity, given to Baby Donald in part by justices he chose, for virtually any illegal act is yet another false equivalence.
Can't until Trump is sentenced...yet another violation of Trumps civil rights by my favorite martian.
Merchan let this fraud continue over a couple years. As soon as it leaves his court on appeal it will get thrown out. It never should have gone this far to begin with.Judge Denies Trump’s Bid to Throw Out Conviction Over Immunity Ruling

I hope Juan is prepared for the onslaught of death threats he'll get from The Following.
That sounds like you agree he's guiltyIt will go to appellate....then state supreme....then supreme... If the penalty is not reduced to something that is sane before it gets there it will be thrown out. This is all but guaranteed.
And he's going to be sentenced. And hes going to pay Letitia James that $487 million judgement. That's still earning interest by the day. And Jack Smiths federal cases will be coming back after the convicted felon leaves office. And Fani Willis's case in Georgia will also be waiting, and trials in Arizona, and Wisconsin have yet to be heard on the unindicted coconspirator.
And a doddering, and dementia addled 82 year old will leave the protections of the office, with no further hope or help of being hounded to hell in the final days of his pathetic life.
