I also find it strange that conservatives blow it off whenever a Republicans kid speaks out against the GOP, yet they will vote for a kid who runs in his fathers shadow.

That's saying something when Reagan, Bush & McCain's kids are all Liberals. That's more of an anti endorsement than when Bush Jr. follows in his daddy's footsteps.

It's a lot easier to toe the line than it is to go against your parents.

The GOP should distance itself from Coulter and Rush! Both are Elitist that alienate the majority of Americans, rich and poor a like!

The problem is that right now, I doubt that anything that the Rs do is going to gain them a lot of support from those who recently abandoned them.

But abandoning the Rush agenda WILL insure that they lose the support of a lot of Anrgy White men who consitute not only a significant portion (about 67%) of Rush's audience, but a very large and very loyal voting block for the Republicans party, too.

In some sense, the Rushites are much like the radical feminists were for the Dems around the time of Reagan.

Rushites are the angry and highly motivated partisans in the party which are out of step with the sentiment of the people at this moment in time.

They might be in the minority, but it's a minority too big to ignore, too.

I hate kids, never been married, have had many single night relationships, don't care to have or be part of a family. I don't go to church, haven't gone for over thirty years. I smoked pot for 34 years before giving it up 3 years ago to get a job I wanted. Loved it and would love to still be smoking it every day but the job is more important. I think the drug war is insane and that is coming from someone that tried pretty much every kind of drug that didn't need to be injected and doesn't do any of them now. Out of all of the different drugs I tried, alcohol was easily the worst and most dangerous...... then again, I'm not susceptible to the addictive qualities as others seem to be...... having friends that were dealers, I did enough coke to become addicted but eventually realized it did nothing for me.

Now that I have revealed that, I'm sure I will get many bullshit responses from the very same assholes that would champion the same things in someone that pronounced he was a liberal Democrat......... bunch of hypocritical dicks, all of you.

You are conservative because you are a greedy prick. But you also believe in live and let live. You probably relate to the libertarians. Am I right?

You think minorities, foreigners and welfare bums are going to take what you worked for.

YOu don't realize that you will actually benefit from a liberal society. For example, liberals want to lower your healthcare costs and get rid of pre existing conditions.

But conservatives like you think that if healthcare is nationalized, you are the one that is going to have to sacrafice.

Well if you are rich, it is true. Yes you will have to pay a little more to make up for the poor people. That's how this country operates. It isn't socialism, but it does have some socialistic traits to it. Always has, always will.

You are in the minority. Most people don't want America to be Every Man for Himself.

But I like your social values. Let people do what they want, as long as they aren't hurting anyone else.
