Not the middle of nowhere
Are ELIGO and all the other ESCOs are part of a massive bait-and-switch scheme on the part of the State of New York (ie, the Governor) to achieve his renewable benchmarks without having to tell the public their true costs? By discounting the initial sign-on rates by dropping a few merchant delivery fees and some taxes. dupes (like me) can be lured into the game, never to be told that rates tied to renewables inevitably MUST rise.

You have only to look at Germany and the EU, New York’s models for wind and sun power, to see the future of rates in New York. They are going to rise. Germany pays about three times the rate per kilowatt hour that we pay in New York. Denmark pays even more. South Australia went all-out for renewables and saw its spot market energy buys skyrocket fivefold. Jamming renewables into a grid system at the expense of cheaper energy DOESN’T work every time its tried. However, it works just fine for the crony capitalists that own the renewable companies. They generate guaranteed profits.

The New York Renewables Game: Bait and Switch

So the governor of New York, just like the phony pols in Germany, are sticking the taxpayers with far higher electricity bills under the guise of helping the climate = by 2030, reducing carbon levels by 1/4 of 1% of yearly output by China:ack-1::ack-1::ack-1::ack-1::banned:

Indeed....the climate k00ks have been lying about the costs of renewables since the dawn of renewables. A total snowjob and they know it too. Fags:2up:

Oh....now.....get ready for the stampede of phony statistic links from the AGW k00ks in here..........the ones showing spectacular growth of solar energy by %.:ack-1:

Of course, these knotheads never compare these %ages to anything else EXCEPT themselves......ever. Which makes the stats phony. So for example, when the growth examples are posted by these meatheads, they will show things like "115% growth of solar" in the past year, but what it doesn't show you is that solar has been growing like that for 10 years now AND STILL ACCOUNTS FOR LESS THAN 1% OF MEETING AMARICA'S ELECTRICITY NEEDS.

Again.......when a progressive k00k starts throwing out fascinating stats, must always ask yourselves, "As compared to what?":deal::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface::funnyface:

yep......nobody cares to get their electric bill and have their jaw hit the floor.
Just be glad your not in Australia.. Some states are dealing with $2.50/kwh and/or total blackouts and grid failures.. can you imagine what a rise to 2.50kwh for our current rate around 0.18kwh here in the US would cause.. Talk about pricing the elderly and poor right into their graves from hypothermia and death...

This is the NWO/Obama/Clinton goal... Kill Off 2/3 of the worlds population
