I don't really understand the body piercing thing. Perhaps for some people, it's a way to get noticed. That said, I personally do not understand why people pierce certain parts of the body because it seems like it would be very painful or at least uncomfortable. I would never want to cut a hole in my tongue or face and hang metal from it. Seems like it would initially be very painful to pierce in the beginning and quite uncomfortable even after the wounds heal.

Also I find most of these piercings unattractive. I do like the belly button Jewelry for attractive lady belly dancers.

I find it a bit strange when I go to a wedding and one of the Bride's Maids is wearing a formal dress which does not cover her tattoo of a skull with a cobra coming out of it's mouth.
