Just to be on the safe side repealing the XVI Amendment as though it had been ratified would automatically reaffirm the First Amendment as well as reaffirm the Original Bill of Rights.

The history of a tax on income is complicated, but the guiding principle is simple. Tax revenues should only be spent on necessary government allowed by the Constitution ——as it was written —— before Supreme Court justices began writing legislation in their rulings.

Put it this way, every entity that takes in money should pay the same percentage of their revenues. That means every charity, every religion, every corporation, every private sector business would pay the same percentage of their revenues and no deductions allowed.

It is absurd to deny that big stars get their huge salaries from subsidies while everything else is paid for by subsidies. Ask yourself who in their right would invest in an industry that died a long time ago?

3. The customer base for movie theaters is the best kept secret in Hollywood. After years analyzing ticket sales, etc. I place the number at somewhere between 8 and 15 percent of the adult population.

4. Subsidies include keeping movie theaters open. New movies are produced in order to stock the shelves of movie theaters. It will not be long before movie theaters disappear entirely. A generation ot two at most. Even then, subsides will continue to pay for the other aspects of the entertainment leg of the complex.

Today, the major stumbling block for Democrats is this: The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, it does not guarantee listeners.

There is no doubt Democrats pray that radio and TV audiences will voluntarily listen to Big Brother’s “message(s).” Even when the Fairness Doctrine was enforced the track record shows that audiences refused to listen. Income tax is a very small contributor to classroom education. And with the Unfunded Mandate strings that come with any Federal money, the states and locals that DO fund the bulk of education, end up LOSING money in the taking of Fed funds.

It is VERY important to end Corporate/Govt collusion. And the BULK of that collusion lately has been MASSIVE giveaways for presumably "green" things. Bernie Sanders acts like he doesn't know why "GE pays no Fed taxes". But he DOES know. He's pulling your leg. GE pays no Fed Taxes because they get a $50 or $75 Tax CREDIT (not a deduction, but an actual CREDIT) for every ******* large "energy appliance" that they sell.

NOTHING like a washer/dryer or dishwasher should be Federally subsidized. EVER... Needs to end. Because every Congress critter has their favorite causes to "fund". And the Enviro would be MUCH HAPPIER without the massive corp/govt collusion that we are allowing..

It's funny how the US has descended to such a low where education is seen as a bad thing. I mean, how on Earth do you think you can compete with the rest of the world by having an attitude that education is bad?

All humans are "indoctrinated", that's why the Chinese like either noodles or rice (depending on whether they're from a noodle place or a rice place). That's why Americans are more likely to prefer American food than Chinese food (often Chinese restaurants will "westernize" their "Chinese" food.)

You learn to live in a certain way because of what is going on around you.

One of the best examples of "indoctrination" is Germany. After WW2 the West was forced to acknowledge their Nazi past, the East were not, the Soviets didn't care as long as they were good Communists. So in the modern, reunified Germany, the racism is in the East far more than in the West. This is an example of where a country has literally forced its people to be more tolerant, more open minded etc.

But I get it. If you're an "archconservative" I can see that education would be against your political instincts. Under-educated people are far more likely to vote for right win policies, they're easier to mold into whatever you want, far more likely to accept your scaremongering tactics on crime (we need guns to make you safe nonsense) or foreign affairs (all Muslims are evil etc).
