Since the beginning of 2016 w have coordinate +15.000 crossing of Palestinians from Gaza to receive medical treatment.

UN has been saying a six-yr old Ali Farahat needs treatment but no petition has been submitted for him to go to Israel for treatment. He needs help but no one bothered to tell Israel that the boy has a congenital flaw in his esophagus or ask for permission to cross and get care Gaza cannot provide him. Israel has asked for a petition to be submitted for his medical care.

Coordination Organization can't take the child in gaza and drive him across the check point. UN is still using him for propaganda even though they know this.

5 people crossed yesterday for medical care. they had paperwork to do so.

Gaza would rather build tunnels than fund their hospitals. Gaza has around 30 hospitals and just got a big new one paid for and built by Indonesian NGO. Without funding some smaller one will have to close. Hamas holds the purse strings.

Won't pay for fuel. Won't fully fund hospitals. Won't cooperate with the PA. Won't stop attacking Israel or inciting violence.

Why the hell does Israel bother to treat West Bank & Gaza non Palestinian citizens in Israeli hospitals so they get well & attack Israel again? Shame on those Zionists.

MJB12741, et al,

In most Western oriented internal defense and development arenas, there is an element of post (and near post) conflict that enhance the interaction with the protected civilian component of the operational environment. The more volatile the environment and the more belligerent the protected civilian component, the less intense these programs are to assist the unconfined protected persons; thus reducing the risk and danger to the program delivery systems like special medical care. These programs help mitigate underlying causes of instability within belligerent civil society. The application of functional specialty skills (like medical expertise), which normally are the responsibility of civil government (Ramallah and Gaza) and infrastructure management, funded by donor nations, become more important and dangerous as the corruption and criminal bleeding of donor funding increases.

At some point, as the risk curve increase and the benefit curve decreases, these programs should be discontinued. IF the programs are perceived as, or considered by, the belligerent general population as inconsequential in comparison to the conduct of the necessity to conducting hostile operations, THEN these programs are approaching the threshold for discontinuance.

Most Respectfully,

Agreed. I would much prefer Israel dump all hospital treatments for Palestinians & take a chance on helping Syrian refugees instead. Far less risk than helping Palestinians stay alive & well.

In total, 103 violent acts by Palestinians documented in June

where is the logic?

Palestinians attack & kill one or more Israeli's. Israel retaliates. And then the Pali's & their supporters bitch about how many more dead Palestinians there are than Israeli's in this endless conflict. It's called Palestinian mentality.
