McCain dead

Couldn't agree more with this quote.

"When John McCain ran for President in 2008, the media called him sick in the head, unfit for office, and a white supremacist. Now they all pretend to care about him, it's a fake and sick game by sociopaths, they destroy a man when he opposes Democrats. Now they love him!"

So true. The media beat the shit out of him, as they do anyone who doesn’t 100% agree with their ideology.

True. The Moon Bats hated McCain when he was running against their worthless affirmative action Muslim Boy.

I do too. They we're laughing at him because he couldn't raise his arms .Now they get all sanctimonious. I never did like mccain.
I was neutral until that commie asshole carpetbagged his ass into Colorado after the Columbine massacre, pimping to close the mythical "gun show loophole"...From that day on, I knew he was a traitorous scumbucket.

Conservatives have always hated him. And the democrats are only shedding crocodile tears.

Real Conservatives have no use for weak minded RINOs like McCain.

Always with the negative waves Moriarty.

I met John McCain once. He was approachable, friendly and intelligent. When he ran in 2000 against Bush I supported him. The way Bush and Rove trashed him was unforgivable. I could never understand the rapprochement afterwards personally, but McCain was a team player. A team player with the soul of an iconoclast.

He was an American patriot. A class act at times. I did not agree with him all the time but he always put America first.

The America of John McCain, the one that both sides of the aisle would or could work together, is not dead it is asleep. America needs a John McCain more than ever today,

He will be missed.

He's an equivalent to Ted Kennedy. Worthless in the Senate .

Got a link to that? I can't find anything of the sort.

I never hated him personally but I loathed he was a RINO.

Nobody drowned with McCain.

I hear you.

a great american has passed

McCain was thoroughly thrashed as a racist, and a Modern Day Hitler when he ran for President. That must have stung, as he had spent the previous 25 years kissing up to liberals and was extremely deferential to his 2008 enemy Obama.

He had thought all of his brown nosing with the media would mean something, but they attacked him for his divorce, adultery, his 2nd wife between an alleged doper, his racism in voting against the MLK bank holiday. It was like all of his efforts to reach across the aisle, to attack Dubya, they were all forgotten once he was on the verge of becoming President.

McCain never fought back against the liberal attacks, and will be remembered as a loser.

I had some RINO issues with him as well. But I also have not forgotten how the left wingers went after him in 2008 and 10 years later they love him. Give us break.

15th post
If indeed this is true, it is not unexpected and so very sad. We have few statesmen, few people willing to cross the aisle and work with the other side, and fewer still who regard their political jobs as a service. I did not always agree with him, but I respected him, a lot. I am sure many will villify him, but to start an OP on his death with a remark about Trump is a disgusting politicization of a sad event.
Like I said Coyote it was posted as soon as I heard it and I remembered the silence of the garbage in our office.. In retrospect I could have posted it differently
You have not listed all his great accomplishments. You said he had a lot list them.
He was one of a handful of former Vietnam POW's who endorsed, supported and attended the first Rolling Thunder Ride and Rally in 1988. Rolling Thunder Ride and Rally has become the largest Veterans Welcome Home event and Free Speech Demonstration in America, year after year and brought one million participants to Wash. DC this year.

I wonder if Putin is going send his condolences to McCain ....

On a somewhat different note however ... -- one war monger less in this world now ... McCain always approved when the US sanctioned some other country ... or stuck it's nose at some world's hot spot.

Example was Ukraine .... Crimea will remain Russian however, as it should be.

You can rest in peace now, John McCain ... This world will get by without you somehow.
