US Navy classified him as 100% disabled following his return from Vietnam. I wonder if this was just physical, or includes mental factors as well.

Why does he get a pension for being 100% disabled when he pulls a fat paycheck from being a Senator and he has a multi millionaire wife? Talk about people getting welfare who don't really need it?

He recently hiked the Grand Canyon with a son and vowed to "out-campaign" them all.

His income tax showed he gets $58,358 untaxed dollars a year in a pension income. That doesn't include his pay for being a Senator.

And he didn't sign the GI Bill to give soldiers more benefits?

Talk about people who don't need welfare taking it anyways.

How the hell are you comparing that to Obama and Wright/Pfleger? Obama titled one of his books from Wright's speeches. Obama referred to Wright and Pfleger as "mentors" and to Wright as a "father figure" in his life.

$58,000 in disability is nothing.
But to address your point, I would have to do some homework.
I know nothing about Govt programs.

That's fair but I think if about 100 million taxpayers stop paying income taxes and said "We taxpayers will set the 2010 budget or Congress does not get our money".
This would be much more effective and efficient.
We can cut the budget in half in a matter of weeks.

I hate Hagee and Falwell. I'm not sure why you keep bringing them up. It doesn't negate Obama's affiliation to radical racism. McCain does not have the ties to Hagee Obama has to Wright and Pfleger. Until you can provide some proof, avoid bringing them up. It's only proving how weak your argument is.

I never said I didn't like liberals. I don't like radical liberals. There's left, there's far left, and there's way far left. Obama's the latter.

What will Obama do? I wish I knew. A year ago I wouldn't have cared about Obama being President, because I didn't really know him. The more I learn about him, the more I worry about what he's capable of, or rather, what he's not capable of.

VA Benifits and pay are not taxed so he is not listing it as pay. In 2004 they changed the law so that anyone disabled due to MILITARY combat could collect both retired pay and disability ( VA) pay. That may be the 58 k.

In any case he EARNED it. It is not welfare, it is payment for services rendered per the Contract he had with the US Military.
