Matthew McConaghey’s chances of becoming Texas governor are looking alright, alright, alright according to a shocking new major poll.

According to a survey released by the University of Texas and the Dallas Morning News, the actor — in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup — tops current Gov. Greg Abbott (R) by 8 points. In all, 43 percent of respondents say they would back McConaughey, 35 percent would support Abbott, and 22 percent would pick someone else.

Right now he is like the backup quarterback on a football team that is struggling everyone loves him and thinks he’s the answer to the teams problems that tends to change when he is starting. Let’s see how popular he is if he ever actually gets into the race and has to give actual policy plans to the problems we face.

We need more COTUS adherents in Gov't. "Independents" are just fascists. Democrooks are total bolsheviks at this point and the republicrats are token opposition because libertarian politics require personal responsibility and a willingness to leave other people the **** alone. Republicrats fail to promote that political stance because it's harder to live that way, even if the ultimate rewards are better. There are risks, shit happens.

"Independents" are "3rd way" dipshits who support the same massive governing authority that manages every aspect of your life, except they promise more rewards for merit, while commies insist that ultimately everyone becomes "equal" regardless of effort, ability or motivation.
