In a brazen attempt to intimidate American citizens in an effort to stop opposition against to Marxist Extremists indoctrinating our children as early as in Kindergarten, 'The National Education Association has sued a mother in Rhode Island who asked what her daughter would be taught in her kindergarten classroom.'

“This brazen and unprecedented act of intimidation by the NEA will not stand,” said the Goldwater Institute’s Director of National Litigation Jon Riches, who is representing Solas. “Nicole Solas is entitled to know what her daughter’s school is teaching in the classroom. She’s entitled to ask questions. And she does not deserve to face legal action just for asking questions any concerned parent would ask.”

YES, parents have the right to know what Marxist-government-funded/run public schools are teaching our children AND to have a say in their education.


"Nicole had emailed the principal of her child’s school in the South Kingstown School District asking for the kindergarten curriculum and whether it would include teaching the young kids politically charged materials, such as lessons influenced by critical race theory and gender theory. Solas “immediately faced stonewalling from the school, and even a threat of legal action for asking too many questions,” according to the Goldwater Institute. “Ultimately, Nicole received a bill for $74,000 to fulfill a public records request filed by the Goldwater Institute on her behalf in July.”

Now Solas is up against the NEA, which the Goldwater Institute calls a “veritable goliath” that “represents over 2.3 million people nationwide” and has “a budget of over $300 million.”

“The NEA is so determined to push its political agenda that they are willing to expose themselves in a court of law for who they really are: an association of bullies eager to challenge a stay-at-home mom who simply wanted to know what her daughter would be taught,”

I listened to an interview with this woman. The way the request process works, makes it sound like she’s asking for way more than she is. You can’t just ask for all the curriculum , and her first request was a question directly to the principal about CRT and if it was being taught. She was told she would have to submit a formal request for that info. You have to ask for specific things in the request. So she had to ask for parts that contained key words. Each word is a separate request. Also if you ask for parts with critical race theory you wont get the parts that sat CRT. Basically the district officials are being assholes who don’t think they should have to answer to a parent m

The list of what she has asked is in the link in my first post. The Union thinks a lot of it is protected and has asked the court to decide if it is or not.

Neither is she entitled to the personal records of any of the teachers or administrators. It is none of her business.

From what I have read it is legal to request Public Records.

As usual, when teachers and professors get questioned about the content of their curriculum, they run and hide behind “privacy protection” because these teachers are pussies. They seek to intimidate students by holding grades over them. We see this all the time when a student records them and their views to expose biased agenda and indoctrination.

Teachers need to be held accountable on how they transfer critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills sets to their students. It’s that simple.

Even when I have little regard for one entity in a story I like hearing from both sides before favoring one over the other. I've seen enough "Karen" videos out there on YouTube which give notion that basically there's no way to accomodate some women. Another aspect the comes to mind is comic Bill Burr's, "No reason to hit a woman" video as he points out how egotistic that statement is and how you can only ask questions about what the guy did and not the woman. So I'm not jumping aboard any conclusion.

I'll offer new teachers with 0-5 years experience 2x what they are paid in these corrupt Dem districts, trust me applicants will come a running. As for districts that have 1 administrator for every 2 teachers, well there will be a lot of administrators looking for a new job.

Again ART I'm not broad brushing all school districts, I'm speaking specifically about arrogant districts where the teachers union AND teachers despise the very taxpayers who employ them. My own districts for example, multiple teachers freaked out when I dared ask questions about the three reasons they gave to justify an historic school tax increase (all untrue) when students in the district actually fell by 500 students.

They spit venom and got nasty. Some told me to leave the district. Clearly they have forgotten who their employer is.
