Massie has a great idea for getting the names of miscreants out there from the Epstein files

He would only be opening himself up to lawsuits if it turns out that there's no proof that the names he would mention had anything to do with being part of Epstein's ring. That's why he would need that protection. If he has the receipts, there shouldn't be any fear in naming names. I don't think that he wants his mouth to write a check that his butt can't cash.

He's already done that, hope he gets sued for it.

Your opinion is worthless, and you know it. :)
Your opinion is worthless, and you know it. These Epstein files went through more than one administration and more than one DOJ. There is nothing there. If there was, one side would have used it against the other already.

How? Innocent lives? How?
hundreds of seasoned prosecutors and investigators in five different administrations and half a dozen jurisdictions have looked at all of this evidence for literally decades and didn't find sufficient evidence to bring any criminal charges except against Epstein and Maxwell.

I have read that Rep. Thomas Massie says he has a major move in mind regarding the Epstein files.

He stated that if the Department of Justice, under Pam Bondi, does not release unredacted names linked to Epstein, he could take the issue to the House floor and read the names publicly under congressional immunity.

Under that protection, such statements would be part of the official Congressional Record.

This is genius.

In the Yahoo News report, Massie states that he is willing to use the constitutional protections afforded to members of Congress to “publicly read a list of Epstein’s clients” that is being compiled by victims. This is a direct acknowledgment that he may release names on the House floor, where he cannot be prosecuted or sued for doing so.

Members of Congress are protected by the Speech and Debate Clause of the U.S. Constitution. This means:
  • They cannot be prosecuted for statements made during official legislative activity.
  • They cannot be sued for defamation for what they say on the floor.
  • They can introduce documents into the Congressional Record with legal immunity.
So if Massie chose to read names aloud, he would be shielded from legal consequences.
Massie will be primaried.

dooooooooooooooooooooo ittttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.

Nail the pigs who took part in this.

This may end up being one of the biggest and ugliest things our elites have ever been a part of. At least that we KNOW about.

Anyone who doesn't want the lid blown off this thing is knowingly protecting pedos and sexual trafficking.

^ worth repeating.

So, the consensus from the release the files enthusiasts is that saying the names out loud will lead to indictments?

You all believe that there is actionable information in the files that will prove to be of an evidenciary nature?

redacted names, other than the victims - whom massie won't be saying anyways will only need to 'splain themselves. me thinx he also won't be bothered to read inconsequential people anyways. i doubt they are still redacted unless, well - you know.... for the wrong kinda protection.

Here is the problem I have. People who questioned the ruling class are eliminated from the congress. And made to look out of the loop. This happened to the tea party people who ran for office. They were a threat to what took over our nation.

That was their mission first. It took time, Trump skimped because he was afraid, and Biden's admin was tied up with Maxwell.

There will be many others going to court now.

Not sure I understand that excuse. They had decades. Literally hundreds if not thousands of seasoned attorneys and investigators. They didn't find bupkis with which they could criminally prosecute anyone other than Epstein and Maxwell.

Mueller himself led the FBI that investigated Epstein for close to a decade.
