Dog Saliva: 9 Facts You Should Know
Dog saliva is a way of life for pet parents who get covered in drool and slobbery kisses. But did you know these five facts about dog saliva? Read on to find out more.www.petmd.com

From your own link
Dog “kisses” may transfer bacteria to humans. Just because dog saliva has antibacterial properties does not mean that dog “kisses” are clean and humans should let their guard down. Dr. Edward R. Eisner, the first veterinarian to become a board-certified specialist in Veterinary Dentistry in Colorado, notes that it’s possible for bacteria to be transferred from pets to humans. One study published in Oral Biology in 2012 found that there can be a transmission of periodontopathic species of bacteria between dogs and their owners.
You are totally confused.
The danger of dog kisses is that they have little bits of decaying meat in their mouth.
It is not the saliva that is dangerous.
And covid-19 is far more delicate than bacteria.
It can not survive long or reproduce in saliva.
The risk comes from mucus and phlegm from the sinuses or lung airways.
Yes dick and the "little bits of decaying meat" is transferred via saliva.
And back to COVID, since you can test (from my previous post) for COVID in saliva it is in saliva.
