The lie is that Cuomo killed anyone in sending the elderly back to their nursing homes. Or that Republican governors weren't doing the same thing. Larry Hogan of Maryland has publically asked why Cuomo got all of the flack when he did the same thing.

The CDC ordered the states to do this, and if you'd read the links you'd know.

You'd also know that 40% of the deaths in Texas were in LT Care facilities in Nursing homes. 40%. That's nearly double the nursing home deaths of New York, even though the population of New York is 2/3 that of Texas. Florida's nursing home death rate isn't as high as Texas, but it's still a LOT higher than New York.

The study quoted there did not say masks don't work. The brainwashed antivaxxers are off on another weird propaganda campaign.

The big flaw? Most of the studies don't address COVID, and in the cases they address, masks were only worn briefly. The two studies that were done after the start of COVID showed that masks helped.

The problem with masks is 1) most, if not a majority or Americans who wore them used the cheap, cloth masks 2) most people wore their mask more than once and 3) most people didn't follow protocols set by CDC for handling masks, like washing hands before / after, not touching the mask, etc .. and the CDC has even written articles, like here, explaining this.
