Marxism is all about picking winners and losers when it comes to businesses.

Yuval Noah Harari on humanity.

“Why do we need people? At the moment, our best solution is to make them happy with drugs and computer games.”

This is what capitalists really think about all of us.
And they have begun to “solve the problem.”

It was precisely the understanding that the new world order is not “given” by someone above in a ready-made, “designed” form, but is developed in the course of the historical process (the elimination of basic contradictions) that was, at the time, the MAIN discovery made by the founders of Marxism.

That is, they did not “invent communism” at all — no, in fact, both Marx and Engels considered this question rather conditionally. They “only proved” that capitalism, which by the second half of the 19th century had finally become the “basic world order,” is in fact ONLY A STAGE of human development.

This banality — well, really, known to EVERY educated person of that time — was actually a very serious achievement in the social sciences. Quite possibly — the greatest achievement of all known. And at the same time, it is extremely difficult to understand even now!

That is, in the most general sense, we recognize as a Marxist someone who believes that capitalism is ONLY A STAGE in human development. That capitalism will be replaced by some other social system. A Marxist — even if he does not realize it.

And we recognize as an opponent of Marxism anyone who believes that capitalism is eternal. That's all.

So, Marx and Engels called the next system that would replace capitalism communism. After all, something will come along, and it will be the resolution of the contradictions of capitalism.

“Once again: if communism is ‘only’ the resolution of the basic contradictions of capitalism, then in order to simplify and accelerate its advent, it is necessary to pay attention to precisely THESE contradictions.”

There are no contradictions in capitalism

No one believes it is eternal

It's a shame you didn't continue. I'm just curious to see how many incorrect sentences you can write in a row.
I was correct

There are no such contradictions

Main contradiction
Between social production and private appropriation: This is the key and irresolvable contradiction, where the product is created collectively, but its fruits go to private owners of Capital.

Between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat: Class struggle between those who own the means of production and workers who are forced to sell their labor power.

Between the organization of production and market anarchy: Production is organized in individual factories, but chaos reigns in society as a whole, leading to overproduction and crises.

Economic trends

The tendency of the rate of profit to fall: As technical equipment (capital) and, accordingly, the share of constant capital grow, the share of variable capital (labor power), which is the source of surplus value, decreases, which naturally reduces the rate of profit, despite the desire to increase it.

Surplus value: By paying workers only for the cost of their labor power, capitalists appropriate unpaid labor, which creates surplus value. This is the source of exploitation and the basis of capital accumulation, but also the root of class conflict.

Consequences:

All these internal contradictions, according to Marx, create the preconditions for an inevitable proletarian revolution and the transition to a new, more perfect system — communism, where the means of production are publicly owned and class struggle ceases.

Wrong and failure.

There is no contradiction. goods and services are not made collectively. Working together toward a common goal is not collectivism. The fruits go to the purchaser.

No one is forced to sell their labor power they CHOOSE to sell it for their own profit and lack of options is not being forced.

Over production is not a crises

Profits do nto always fall

There is simly no such thing as surplus value. What Marx ( and you ) are too stupid to grasp is that value is always STRICTLY subjective

There are no contradictions and you failed to demonstrate any. To have a contradiction you need two premises which cancel each other out. You posted no such premises.

Actually, it's fascism where the leader picks the corporate winners and losers.

As we've been seeing with Trump, from Intel to Tesla to Nvidia to the constant changes to his tariff circus.

Mussolini was an idiot. And that is being kind.
So why would anyone pay attention to anything he said.

The delusion of MAGA is they think kicking out immigrants will make capitalism work again.
The delusion of liberals is they think electing a Democrat president will make capitalism work again.
They’re both wrong. The world is in decay because capitalism only works for the rich.

Wrong

Capitalism is working NOW

It works for all

The world is in decay because capitalism only works for the rich.

This is a crazy statement. No other economic model creates as much wealth FOR EVERYBODY as does capitalism. People like you only ***** about the rich guys, who do get fabulously wealthy. But you totally ignored everybody else that are very well off in terms of their standard of living in a capitalistic society. And anybody who believes that any form of socialism will even comes close is bat-shit crazy.

People tend to forget the capitalism is an economic model but it is NOT a form of government. Because capitalism creates so much wealth it becomes fertile ground for all sorts of misbehavior: liars, thieves, frauds, con artists, etc. Probably should include politicians in that group, but the evils of capitalism are actually failures of our republican form of government that requires a certain amount of compromise and cooperation that we currently do not have to address the inequalities and fairness that human nature can devise. That is not a capitalism problem, that is a governance problem.

Libya. A slave market in the 21st century. This woman was brought from Ethiopia to be sold at a slave market.

After the victory of “blessed” capitalism on the planet, a huge proportion of humanity fell back into the Dark Ages.

Now slave markets have appeared in Syria too.
Wherever capitalism goes to plunder, everything turns into hell.
