Not when you consider that there are more Christians that don't do it, than Catholics that do. It's just a Catholic tradition that the New World Order doesn't care about one way or another.
The mark is a complete control issue, not a religious one.

It is a physical mark and without it, you will buy nothing.
You know it is physical is because it has a location. Hand or head. You can't put a choice on a hand or forehead.

The symbolism is this

References to head, means those who've decided who they're going to follow.

References to hand represents those who made a choice via actions.

Doesn't matter who does it, Ash Wednesday has nothing to do with the beast or his mark. And it has nothing to do with symbolism. It doesn't reference the head. It merely explains what part of the head the mark will be put. The forehead, not the back of the head, not the whole head, just the front part of your head is cited. Does that mean that only part of your head decides who to follow? Does your forehead make a lot of decisions for you?

Actions have nothing to do with it. God says your actions are like dirty rags. Acceptance of Christ is the only way to the Father in Heaven.

I doubt you are a theologian, or God's prophet, so I believe you are entitled to your opinion, but the reader can do what he wants with it.

Many friends of mine, primarily white but a few Diné Bizaad as well, are LDS. Some of them are engaged in the question of whether Joseph Smith Jr was monogamous or polygamous. It is a real foo fah rah, meaning a lot of emotion and noise that really, to me, is simply opinion that is not binding on anyone.

Forehead is symbolic of the mind. The right hand is symbolic of work.

For this reason I believe acceptance of Catholic Sunday and being forced to work on Sabbath is the Mark if the Beast. The Beast is already here. It just hasn't reached the point where it can enforce it's will

Yes, agree it is a physical thing. But it is a decision, to follow the Beast, the Antichrist, instead of Jesus, and what he taught....by accepting the mark.
