Calling the DOJ corrupt isn't half of it.

Beginning under Øbama it has become a festering cesspool to protect Democrats and all other members of the swamp/deep state.

It was Øbama who began ramking the DOJ into what it is nowm and enemy of Justice.

Jack Smith does not seem to care that this is not the Kosovo Special Prosecutor's office in The Hague. Donald Trump is not a war criminal. He did not commit acts of genocide. We have rules in our country, starting with the Constitution, as well as ABA and DOJ rules for prosecutors, and an entire system of evidence and procedures, that are in place to ensure that any individual, especially a candidate for president who is also a former president, is not treated as if this is some kind of Henry the VIII or, in modern terms, Stalinist "justice" system.

Using attorney-client information as the basis for nearly 40 charges against Trump, incessant leaking of grand jury and investigative information to the press (in violation of the 5th and 6th amendments), and other abuses of power denying due process to Trump (or any defendant treated this way) guts our justice system. And all of this, in the aggregate, is a frontal assault on our federal election system, with a presidential election upon us in which Trump is currently the leading potential nominee to run against Biden -- whose DOJ/FBI is investigating and prosecuting the former president.
Smith abused his authority in the pursuit of former Republican Virginia governor, Bob McDonnell. He was bluntly admonished by the Supreme Court's 8-0 ruling overturning McDonnell's convictions. He was bluntly admonished by a jury in North Carolina, when it rejected Smith's criminal charges against John Edwards, involving alleged federal election violations. In both cases, Smith, who was in charge of the Public Integrity Section of the DOJ Criminal Division, cut corners and essentially rewrote the relevant statutes. Smith encouraged the IRS to investigate numerous Tea Party groups, another outrageous attack on innocent citizens, for which the DOJ eventually apologized and paid over $3 million in damages. And this is the prosecutor, of a pool of thousands of current and former prosecutors, who Garland chose to destroy Trump, to imprison Trump, and to ensure that Trump dies in a federal prison.

Per usual, Smith piled up charges against Trump, based mostly on attorney-client privileged information released at Smith's request, and on the order an Obama judge who despised Trump and ruled against him on every single motion before her. She was the chief judge in DC, and the so-called "motions judge," and has since retired and replaced by another Trump-hating Obama judge. Smith knew she would given him mostly what he wanted. The information involved in this seedy episode remains under seal, except to the extent it has been leaked most certainly by Smith's office.

There have been over 40 material leaks of information relating to this investigation and the January 6 "case" in the last 6-8 months to CNN, Washington Post, and NY Times (obviously, all on the public record, and I've collected them), which assist the government's narrative and poison any jury pool. Smith and his comrades know the Democrat Party media will gobble it all up and regurgitate it just as he wishes (as they've done for the last 8 years, e.g., Russia collusion, etc.). All of this violates every legal and ethical standard put in place to prevent what Smith is doing. Yet, not a single judge, on his or her own, as admonished the government (which is responsible for overseeing the investigation, including improprieties such as leaks). Nor has the attorney general said a word about what his department is doing and how it is conducting itself -- other than stand behind "the good people" of the department. Ultimately, cf course, Garland is the captain of the ship and all that occurs on DOJ Titanic.

Meanwhile, the same DOJ/FBI that sought to destroy Trump in 2016 and throughout his presidency, with chapter and verse of Stalinist-like misdeeds so numerous they're impossible to list here, set forth in the Durham over 300-page account. They're still at it. They've never left. And the same media spews the same spoon-fed government propaganda. The FBI/DOJ have the same mentality, the same Democrat Party-allegiance, exercise the same abuses of power, in their years' long hunt for Trump. Joe Biden, like Hillary Clinton, are protected, despite their myriad criminal activities involving documents and foreign money, but Trump is treated as a genocidal dictator given The Hague treatment over documents (the Espionage Act has never been used against former presidents or vice presidents and was never intended to be, regardless of disputes over documents, classified documents, storage of the same, etc.). Neither Hillary nor Joe have faced even criminal investigations, let alone by special counsels, into their egregious acts -- which supersede anything they can even concoct against Trump.

See you tonight at 8 PM eastern on Fox.

Yawn...and he hasn't seen all the evidence or testimony so he doesn't really know shit.

He thanks Trump humpers for the click bait ad revenue though.

Levin is a POS, I've heard his rants. The question is, did Trump break the law? If he used his attorney to commit a crime attorney-client privilege is voided. That is the law and Levin certainly knows it.

Because Levin is spot on as well as honest and articulate, our liberals won’t understand him much less agree with him. But he happens to be completely correct.
