This is basically a charity scam like thr wall fund or trumps own charity scam that led to him being banned from running a charity.

It looks like they got off lightly like many white collar criminals.

MTG is usually very vocal on law and order issues but she has been muted on this one. I guess if she thinks trump is innocent she will believe her campaign manager is also innocent.

It looks like the GOP can exploit any disaster.

This con job is to be expected from a Democrat and he delivered his own con job.
A man named Michael Peppel, actually pulled the scam and two victims were forced to pay restitution as this guy claims. But they did not engineer the scam and likely will try to sue the dude who pulled the scam to get back their money.
