There is no explaining the rational of Democrats

How about this explanation....

Nihilism
Nihilism is the belief that all values are baseless and that nothing can be known or communicated. It is often associated with extreme pessimism and a radical skepticism that condemns existence. A true nihilist would believe in nothing, have no loyalties, and no purpose other than, perhaps, an impulse to destroy.

Four days ago: Some QAnon Topminds believe that the hospital ship USNS Mercy is docking in Los Angles to take people to Gitmo

Yesterday: Coronavirus conspiracy theorist charged with derailing a train in California

Eduardo Moreno, a 44-year-old from San Pedro, Calif., is in FBI custody and claims that he ran the train off the tracks at a high speed to draw attention so “people could see for themselves” what the USNS Mercy was up to, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Central District of California. Moreno allegedly told investigators that he was suspicious of the ship’s intentions and thought it might be connected to a government takeover.

"You only get this chance once. The whole world is watching. I had to. People don't know what's going on here. Now they will," Moreno reportedly said to a California Highway Patrol officer afterwards.

"The entire world is watching" is a Qanon catchphrase.

One of the many downsides to the internet has been its ability to nurture and enable lunatics who will believe anything sprayed at them.

There was enough of that before; now it's pretty much everywhere.

The guy who derailed the train was spotted shopping at WalMart earlier in the day. .. :cuckoo:

Trumpers/conservatives are saps for conspiracy theories. Look at all the Trumpist/Conservative Conspiracy theories that are posted and abound on this board. It does not surprise me in the least that there are conservative whack jobs out there who look at everything as a government conspiracy. It is not helped either that Fox News and right-wing media perpetuate these myths and conspiracy nonsense. Ailes, Limbaugh, etc. and the usual suspect right-wing manipulators know the propensity of their listeners to believe all this crap. Trumpist/Conservatives for all their talk about being independent thinkers are easily led like sheep.

You really have to feel so sorry for those that feel compelled to turn mental health problems into a hope for political purposes. Some could see it as a desperate move if there was a possibility of gaining anything from it. But it is just pathetic when it does nothing but make you feel that it somehow vindicates your skewed view.

Every Covfefe-16 sufferer knows............there are no violent demented lunatics on the left.....

iu
.

Why do you keep avoiding the facts of the story??

The guy said why he did it...and it wasn't because he was on the "left"

Can you name someone or provide a link to anyone on the "left" claiming the use of a Navy medical ship was evidence of a government takeover??
