Man Eating Chicken

P T Barnum would charge people a nickel to come inside & see the freak show. Barnum would walk a group of people past each exhibit...the bearded lady...the worlds smallest man...etc.

After they were thru, Barnum would announce he had one further exhibit but it would cost people an extra dime to see it.

IT IS THE GRUESOME...THE TERRIFYING...THE HORRIFIC MAN EATING CHICKEN! Now I must warn you people with heart conditions and pregnant woman should not enter this exhibit! It is just too terrifying!

People were excited and paid the extra dime...they were lead into the next room and the curtain was drawn back revealing...

Oh people got angry...but Barnum would tell them to "get in" on the joke...go tell your friends they have got to see the man eating chicken!

Many of them did

(not to mention...Barnum promised to show them a "man eating chicken" and he did).
