If 80 metrics tons of CO2 is dangerous, the fact that it takes 10 Chinese to emit that but only 8 Americans, doesn't mean the Chinese CO2 is killing the planet less than the American CO2.

Yes, they are still building out their coal generation. However, that roughly 100 GW's of new coal pales beside the 277 GW's of solar and 87 GW's of wind. They are also, as we are, moving away from coal for generation.

That is correct. However, China resources up until recently have been far more limited than those of the US. And they are trying to join the modern world in a very short time. So they are building out their energy infrastructure as fast as possible. Interestingly, we are adding renewables at a far higher percentage of new energy than they are. We are just failing to add enough. Our scientists dealing with battery research are also making some major gains. However, where the Chinese government actively supports such gains, our present government is doing all it can to discourage those gains, trying to go back to 19th century energy base.

Yes, windmills. Worldwide generated about 2500 TWH in 2023. China generated over 990 TWH and the US generated over 450 TWH. That was 8.1% of the power generated worldwide, 9.8% of the power generated in China, and 10.3% of the power generated in the US. And all these numbers are going to increase.
