Global solar increases 64% in first six months of 2025

No it was not. All steel, especially recycled steel uses electricity plus Coal! Or more accurately Coke.

Electricity alone does not generate the heat needed.
The mechanical strength of coke is currently unmatched by non-fossil fuel alternatives, making its continued use in existing blast furnaces a necessity for now.

Teslas are made with coal
The carbon footprint of making an EV is significantly more. The break even point of the carbon footprint between an EV and ICE vehicle can take 6 months to 2 years. Every EV written off before the break even point just caused more carbon pollution.

Solar does not provide the energy to make anything you need to make a solar panel

Wacker built it's solar manufacturing industry next to a nuclear and coal plant near chattanooga. Wacker needs that much electricity just to purify polysilicon to solar grade. That much electricity and coke.

All this green fantasy keeps the Alarmists happy, but they're clueless tbh.

I bet I have thrown out over 10,000 batteries in my life.

A EV battery is thousands of little batteries wired together.

How many batteries has the average person used? Whatever the amount, one EV is more than a lifetimes worth of batteries, maybe ten lifetimes

Miss Elektra, such a silly person you are. While our reheat oven used natural gas, when we smelted the steel in 100 ton lots, it was all done with electricity. And the Pueblo mill now uses solar for most of their electrical needs.

And when there is heavy overcast, snow falling, or NIGHT, they can still operate ?

The green fantasy resulted in the price of boats doubling, cause fiberglass demand went up an extreme amount.

We ain't making pennys cause most the ccopper sits idle in 100's of thousands of wind turbines.

Steel demand increased because of all the wind turbines being built

Chemicals that come from oil increased in demand, hence we drilled for more oil

Money, trillions created by the federal reserve to pay for the green fantasy results in a 5% fee paid to the Federal Reserve for every dollar

The IMF and World Bank made more money by lending more money to countries to buy the green fantasy

I could go on and on, following all these dollars, goin into the Clinton's pocket, al gore, Obama, etc..

And these Alarmists puke up because it creates millionaires, all jumping on the green bandwagon.

Today in Chicago we hit 90, but in the supposed hottest year evah didn’t beat the high from 1954 of 94

When did I say otherwise?

What lies? Be specific.

Hmm. I can build a nuclear power plant on a few acres of land capable of powering half a state for 50 years; how much of a state can I power on just a few acres of solar panels around the clock? Remember, the shit doesn't even work at all on cloudy, rainy, stormy days or from late afternoon to mid-morning, so it won't even serve as a primary power source.

What is damaging about tunneling some coal deep out of the ground? Will the gophers miss it?
Does this look like tunneling?

I see. So you are going to measure climate by one days temperature. LOL How about 116 F in Portland, Oregon on one day? Or 121 F in Lytton, British Columbia?

After 40 years of installing solar panels, they are not even started!

I bet the reason it is so slow is cause it take a 100 years to pay for.
Now Miss Elektra, I'll bet the reason that you post such dumb posts is because you are stupid. LOL

15th post
The Pueblo Mill is hooked up to the grid, it is ran off the grid.
Of course it is hooked to the grid. You see, not being hooked to the grid would be extremely stupid. If there is a problem with the solar plant, they can run independently of it. And if the mill is not running at full capacity, then they can sell power. But such things would never occur to you, now would it.

Renewable energy production up.

Electric bills up exponentially.

Doesn't take an Einstein to work that one out. You pay renewable energy investors when they produce electric, and when they don't. Are you gonna erect a turbine farm for the electric board to say, "We'll just pay you for electric when demand is there"?
Just how ******* dumb can you post? There is all kinds of news about the need for far more generating power because of AI. So that means not only generation, but also transmission. But then, that is something that you don't want to talk about, as solar and wind can be built near the point that it is needed, so needs less transmission lines.

Dumb-de-dumb dumb. Silly ass, I worked in a steel mill for twenty years. Never saw an ounce of coke being used, and we melted recycled steel in 100 ton lots.

Solar installation increased by 64% in the first six months of 2025 over 2024. Led by China and India more and more nations are finding solar a better solution for energy needs than fossil fuels. No railroads, pipelines, mines, or drilling needed. No need to purchase fuel for to convert water to steam and run that through very expensive turbines. And you can use the land that the panels are on for other purposes as well, farming or parking lots.

Here is the link that somehow did not get posted on the last attempt;

Solar cost more and cant meet the demands of AI. It requires subsidies from taxes and back up that increases costs even more. Renewable energy will create an energy shortage catastrophe as server banks and AI increase. Spain had a nation wide black out Germany has the most expensive energy in Europe.
America is switching to fossil fuels and nuclear which is low cost reliable and can meet demand. Nations that depend on renewable energy will drive manufacturing out of their countries to America. Volkswagen has already started to move to America.

China is building more coal power plants than solar
