When I got involved in the local "Tea Party" back in 2009, we started with a couple of street protests where hundreds lined the major highway, but did not impede traffic or riot. Just held our placards and American flags - showing solidarity on the issues.
This was in Bellingham, Whatcom County, Washington State.

Several months later, we changed our "name" from "Whatcom Tea Party" to "Whatcom County Citizens for Freedom".
Our mission statement;

To reverse deficit spending and the concentration of power in central government, in order to preserve states' rights and individual liberty for future generations.

Within a couple of years many of the main members had moved on to other focused efforts, public office, convention political action/office, and/or businesses.

Shortly after we disbanded/dissolved our ".org".

I got involved in 2007. By 2009, that stuff you listed, was just talking points by then. We opposed Obama and McCain. Sarah Palin was fake AF. And we all knew it. The meetups were getting filled with people that supported McCain. Supported the "war on terror." Many of the new comers supported the Patriot act.
And the next mid term elections, the fake ass tea party supporters were just riding on the coat tails of what the original tea party's name. Guys like Kevin McCarthy.

One of them fake POS republican (Rep. Andy Harris (R-Maryland) was crying about their government paid health insurance not kicking in until after he was sworn in.

By the end of 2009, it was just another wing of the GOP.

Because when the dollar collapses from all the over spending, when BRICS currency becomes the global reserve currency, then congress will be forced to return to fiscal conservatism. But it'll be a disastrous depression. Probably something like Russia in 1990/1991. But will take a lot longer to recuperate.

You really don't know anything about fiscal conservatism or the benefits of it, do you? You might take a look at our government before say 1970 or so. Back when America was actually great.
When government was small & limited. When congressmen actually represented the people. And not their favorite lobbyist and biggest donors.
