He also said that separating families and mass deportations is wrong!!! Less than half of the people Trump is deporting have ANY criminal record at all, either in their home country or in the USA. More than half are in the country legally or have pending immigration hearings and are in full compliance with their immigration proceedings.

Many of these people have been in the country for years and are married and have families - including American born children. Communities aren't protesting these deportations because criminals are being expelled. People are protesting these deportations because their mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, and law abiding, hard working friends and neighbours are being deported.

The Pope has been VERY critical of Donald Trump, which is why MAGA is calling him the "Woke Pope".

The cool thing is that both men came up as priests in the Chicago area and know each other well. We recently got a picture of my wife's cousin meeting with Pope Leo in Rome as the two men are friends from long ago.

The new Pope is a strong administrator and the Church could use some solid management after the previous Pope that had none of those skills. I think the new Pope's ability to run organizations was attractive to the Cardinals.

All this MAGA or not-MAGA about the Pope is for idiots that are ignorant on the Church.
