Maccabi Tel Aviv Victory Sparks Torrent of Anti-Semitic Abuse

Like I have said numerous times, I am atheist.

I can't read racial comments when none were made. Antisemitic speech is not illegal, and unless they told people to round up Jews and put them in a gas chamber, their comments are only inflammatory to you.

I don't defend what was said, but their right to say it.
Better stop digging before the hole caves in on you. Anti-Semitic speech is legal? Where?

Where is it illegal?
In most civilized countries around the world. Do get into the 21st century, my Argyle friend.

Report on Global Anti-Semitism

Executive Summary

I. Anti-Semitism

Anti-Semitism has plagued the world for centuries. Taken to its most far-reaching and violent extreme, the Holocaust, anti-Semitism resulted in the deaths of millions of Jews and the suffering of countless others. Subtler, less vile forms of anti-Semitism have disrupted lives, decimated religious communities, created social and political cleavages, and complicated relations between countries as well as the work of international organizations. For an increasingly interdependent world, anti-Semitism is an intolerable burden.

The increasing frequency and severity of anti-Semitic incidents since the start of the 21st century, particularly in Europe, has compelled the international community to focus on anti-Semitism with renewed vigor. Attacks on individual Jews and on Jewish properties occurred in the immediate post World War II period, but decreased over time and were primarily linked to vandalism and criminal activity. In recent years, incidents have been more targeted in nature with perpetrators appearing to have the specific intent to attack Jews and Judaism. These attacks have disrupted the sense of safety and well being of Jewish communities.

The definition of anti-Semitism has been the focus of innumerable discussions and studies. While there is no universally accepted definition, there is a generally clear understanding of what the term encompasses.

For the purposes of this report, anti-Semitism is considered to be hatred toward Jews—individually and as a group—that can be attributed to the Jewish religion and/or ethnicity. An important issue is the distinction between legitimate criticism of policies and practices of the State of Israel, and commentary that assumes an anti-Semitic character. The demonization of Israel, or vilification of Israeli leaders, sometimes through comparisons with Nazi leaders, and through the use of Nazi symbols to caricature them, indicates an anti-Semitic bias rather than a valid criticism of policy concerning a controversial issue.

In case you don't know, Arabs hate Jews because Jew-Hatred is rooted in Islam itself.

So your argument is slim, at best.

Arabs don't hate Israelis because of the "Israelitism". 20% of Israel are Arabs. They don't hate them. They hate the 80% who are Jews.

That may be true. How did Jews and Arabs get along before 1948? Were they always at each others throats?

Ever heard of the events of 1921, 1929 and 1936?

I believe there were causes to those events. I meant just in general. If an Arab lived next to a Jew did they get along or argue about their dog pissing in their yard?

It may be millennia before there is ever any lasting peace there.

Arab would not live with Jew or anybody unless Jew or non Muslim was treated like a second class citizen.

Nowhere does it say that antisemitism is illegal. Certain acts would be illegal. If in hit a Jew, because he is a Jew, that is antisemitic but it is also battery. Being battery makes it illegal, not because its antisemitic. If someone makes a statement saying they hate Jews, its antisemitic but its not illegal.

Thank you for the legal lesson, but we already knew that it's not illegal for you to be an anti Semite, so carry on.

Having a strong dislike for Israeli politicians does not make one an anti Semite.

What part about "Judaism isn't a race" didn't you get?

Arabs hate Israelis. If all Israelis were Budists, then Arabs would hate Budism and wouldn't give a shit about the Jews.

What part of IT ISN'T FREE SPEECH TO MAKE ANTI SEMITIC AND INCITEMENT TO VIOLENCE don't you understand. It has nothing to do with Judaism at all, that is just your ISLAMONAZI excuse. Did you read the comments made that were RACIST and INFLAMATORY in the extreme ?

Like I have said numerous times, I am atheist.

I can't read racial comments when none were made. Antisemitic speech is not illegal, and unless they told people to round up Jews and put them in a gas chamber, their comments are only inflammatory to you.

Anti semitic speech is illegal as it is racism, unless you come from some Islamic nation. It was passed into INTERNATIONAL LAW when the UN passed a resolution making it Jew hatred.

Having a strong dislike for Israeli politicians does not make one an anti Semite.

I would say that anyone who just concentrates on this forum and not on the others covering areas where many, many innocent people are being murdered in the name of a religion are actually anti-Semites. No doubt there are other posters as well as many viewers who hold the same opinion as I have.

Jews aren't a race and antisemitic speech isn't illegal. Feel free to show how either is.

So anyone who doesn't praise Israel is an Islamonazi??? LMAO!!!

They can't be racist remarks because Judaism isn't a race.

The comments didn't say for people to hunt them down and out them in a gas chamber so it is not inciting violence.

Oh, and personally I'm an atheist.

That's AntiSemitism. Poteto Potato.

Why are you defending Anti-Semities?

Are you included in this category?

I do not defend antisemites. Hating someone just because they are Jewish is just moronic. I am defending free speech and freedom of opinion, whether I disagree with the subject matter or not.

Yet you spout anti Semitism all the time. Here is the wiki entry for you to read.

Antisemitism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Antisemitism (also spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism) is prejudice, hatred of, or discrimination against Jews as a national, ethnic, religious or racial group.[1] A person who holds such positions is called an "antisemite". As Jews are an ethnoreligious group, antisemitism is generally considered a form of racism.

No, the people in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Iran are from the Middle East. The original Israelis came from Europe.

you know How many Israelis are of Mizrahi roots?

Are you dense?

The original Israelis, that created the state of Israel, were from Europe.

The original Israelis were eastern and were in the holy land already, or near by. Ottoman encouraged jews to return before "Zionism" and before either World War. Eastern jews make up more than half the jewish population. There were agreements before WWII aimed as establishing a jewish state.
It was the jews from the east, mostly from the Ottoman empire, that establish the farming and rebuilding of the land. They were clearing land and establishing kibbutz before WWI.

All this blame it on the west, europe, zionists is just so much hate rhetoric. Seems you don't care about the truth, just trying to win every argument without facts. You are becoming a total bore.

Deal in the present and stop trying to blame. Seek solutions and bring useful ideas to help both sides find peace.

NO the arabs held the Jews as slaves and forbid them from carrying any weapons. They beat them remorselessly and raped their daughters and took them as sex slaves. Just google the pact of Omar and dhimmi to see what life was like for the Jews under muslim rule.

I have not said anything antisemitic. Your hatred for anyone who doesn't kow-tow to Israel blinds you.

Also, Wikipedia isn't the best way to make a point since even I can go in and edit it.

It is no more a crime than Islamophobic speech, which is practiced by most of you dimwits.

What you call islamophobia is nothing more than an infidel knowing too much about islam. It is not racism to tell the truth about islam using the words from the Koran. You should watch Wilders film Fitna to see just what the ISLAMONAZIS believe.

Here it is for all the readers of this board

They did not live next door to each other the laws were against it. And the Jews were treated like slaves.

If you hit a Jew because they are a Jew then you could be tried for anti Semitism, racism and battery. You can say you hate Jews it is not illegal , but to demonise the Jews by repeating BLOOD LIBELS is illegal
