Fauci was wearing the sharia law dictated niqab and he could not throw the ball over the plate.

As you can clearly see in the YouTube video below, when another non-professional, 50 Cent, threw a first pitch without donning the Muslim niqab, the ball came slightly closer to the strike zone.



From this rather limited set of data, the preliminary judgement is not in favor of wearing a surgical sharia law dictated niqab for athletic performance.

And in the next example Donald Trump throws a first pitch straight over the plate.



So there you have it. Wearing the Muslim niqab mask does not improve a pitcher's athletic performance.

Wearing good hair and parking a helicopter on the field improves a pitcher's performance.
