Lunch boxes from your youth

Sad to say, I never had a lunch box because I ate the school's lunch.

LOL....I remember a kid that had one of these.

We used paper bags

Not sure if any of my friends had a lunch box

In that paper sack was one sandwich that was one slice of bologna, one slice of cheese, a light spread of mustard, and mayo. Sometimes there was a banana, but most often it was a tangerine or an apple. Then one pint of whole milk.

I lived close enough to my grade school to go home for lunch. In HS, I bought my lunch from a machine.

Damn, that's just fuckin' sad.

We had kick-ass school lunches all the way through school....Middle School was the best. It was a former school for blacks only and when they made the conversion they retained the black cafeteria staff.....I just loved chili and cornbread day. I even got used to collard greens and fried cabbage.

Yep, had many of them from grades 1-8. No school lunch at Holy Spirit school in L.A.

Leftover beef tongue sandwiches, milk in a thermos with glass liner. If you dropped it...BOOM! It was all broken glass inside.
