I HAVE SOME BAD NEWS!

Pfft... Normal life has never changed for us. Since this thing hit, we have been working, living, and doing our recreational stuff like we always have.... Yes I got sick, but I just had to get over it, and I did. Can't live in fear, and that's just all there is to it. Around our part of the nation, everything still appears normal. People wear mask, and others don't. Before anyone gets mad because someone isn't wearing a mask, well they just make sure that they are wearing theirs, then it's A-ok. I probably wear a mask a total of 30 minutes throughout the day, and use hand sanitizer about the same. No need of these things if not getting around people except when go into a place of business, and that's very rare for me these days. Mostly just stay around the home front these days. Plenty to do, and if I need anything I just order it on line. Problem's solved. Most I see are living life normally around these parts, especially during hunting season. Yes we get the virus around here too, but we just kick it's ace, and send it packing... LOL.

The Associated Press reported earlier this month that Letlow, a 41-year-old Republican, had been hospitalized after being diagnosed with the virus. He was days away from being sworn into office.

Dr. G.E. Ghali, of LSU Health Shreveport, told NOLA.com that Letlow was in critical condition but showed signs of improvement. He "apparently suffered a cardiac event this evening that was refractory to all resuscitation efforts."

Rep. Steve Scalise, another Republican from the state, issued a statement calling Letlow a "positive spirit" who had a "tremendously bright future ahead of him."

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi also issued a statement saying the entire body mourns his passing.

Go back to college and take a course in Logic my premise was in simple terms that the in the treatment for the covid 19 the doctors reached a point that they felt in order to save him a resuscitation was a necessary course of action that may save him unfortunately it caused a cardiac arrest and he died. If they didn't try to resuscitate him he dies, ergo the covid 19 killed him. Of course you could make a claim that the doctors mishandled his treatment and caused his death.

Good point. Actually since the passage of the CARES act in the Summer, hospitals were given $$$ for each instance a Covid related death. The death cert. has part 1 and part 2. If a patient dies of say....a heart attack AND has Covid in their system then Covid is listed on the death certificate under part 2 even though the cause of death in part 1 was a heart attack. In addition MEs (medical examiners) can declare a death Covid related without testing.

OK, so untrained, unintentional mal-practice is the real reason the poor feller died. You see, this is the problem with this, and it has been the problem ever since Covid-19 came on the scene, where as no one has the correct antidote or procedure for getting through the attempted procedures that can either save a person in the situation or not.

Something that came upon this nation, and upon the world so fast, is something being learned, and something that has plenty of mistakes being made in that learning. Sadly people are dying, and it may be due to trials and errors being made on the issue.

We can't learn this mess quick enough, and sadly people are dying because of it. But when we look at the overall, we are really way below the numbers it could be if we were living in say 1919.

It's really up to the patient to hopefully help the medical field by explaining as best they can their underlying conditions, and their symptoms correctly.
