At Luke 17:26, Jesus compares these last days to Noah's day. Sadly, in Noah's day 99.9999% were mislead to destruction. It is no different today. Jesus as well taught-FEW will find the road that leads off into life.( be saved)--The problem is 99% of all religion is false religion. Misleading folks who desire to serve God down the broad and spacious path.( Matthew 7:13-14)
One MUST carefully study as if their life depended on it( it does) the teachings of Jesus. His truth shows who is who. Few believe what Jesus actually taught.
Do you believe you are one of the FEW?

What do you personally think of the theory that genetic manipulation and cloning may have existed at least decades if not centuries, before the life of Noah.

That is how I understand some statements in the Book of Jasher, [assuming the validity of the Book of Jasher in the form that we have it at this time]?

[The Book of Jasher, chapter four] :

18 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord; and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals.

19 And the Lord said, I will blot out man that I created from the face of the earth, yea from man to the birds of the air, together with cattle and beasts that are in the field for I repent that I made them.

20 And all men who walked in the ways of the Lord, died in those days, before the Lord brought the evil upon man which he had declared, for this was from the Lord, that they should not see the evil which the Lord spoke of concerning the sons of men.

21 And Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord chose him and his children to raise up seed from them upon the face of the whole earth.

Jasher isnt apart of Gods bible.

Jasher isnt apart of Gods bible.
You could be correct.....
but I do know that the modern version that I have read was quite impressive and did answer some of my questions.

How could writers two or three centuries ago know about genetic manipulation or cloning?

The "Book of Jasher" (or Jashar) is an ancient, lost collection of Hebrew poetry and historical songs referenced twice in the canonical Old Testament. [1, 2]
Because it is a lost text, any published book today claiming to be "The Book of Jasher" is a post-biblical creation, translation, or forgery. [1, 2, 3]

1. Biblical References
The name translates from Hebrew as "The Book of the Upright" or "The Book of the Just". It is explicitly cited in two passages: [1, 2]
  • Joshua 10:13: Referenced regarding the miracle where the sun and moon stood still during the battle at Gibeon.
  • 2 Samuel 1:18: Referenced as the source for the "Song of the Bow," David’s mournful lament for the deaths of King Saul and Jonathan. [1, 2, 3]

2. Scholarly Consensus
Historians and biblical scholars agree that the original Book of Jasher was an anthology compiled to celebrate the heroes of Israel, particularly their martial victories. Because it is categorized as a lost non-canonical text, it was never included in the standard biblical canon. [1, 2, 3]

3. Modern "Jasher" Books
Several books circulating today bear this name, but none are the ancient manuscript mentioned in the Bible

Joshua 10 verse thirteen.....

“Sun, stand still over Gibeon;
And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”
13So the sun stood still,
And the moon stopped,
Till the people had revenge
Upon their enemies.
Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. 14And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel.

and......

17Then David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son, 18and he told them to teach the children of Judah the Song of the Bow; indeed it is written in the Book of Jasher:
