Lower your expectations update: Jen Psaki says supply chain crisis is your fault

The blame goes to unvaccinated people. They are responsible for the second wave this past summer.
Progs are the most selfish and self important people in our nation and maybe the planet. Everything is for their ways of living and makes no difference who they trample on. And by their own agendas they self deficate on themselves when things go wrong. Just one, the Cruise Industry is facing that right now. They do not care if they are pigs as they do not realize it , but others who do not adhere to their standards of life are just inferior. Separate the nation into a loose federation of states with little interference in each others ways. Then we can all live in what we want.

Whoever wrote that article is spinning. Psaki was correct in her answer. Demand right now is outstripping supply. Some people are buying more than they need as in the case of toilet paper. Also the fact is that the economy is coming back faster than many suppliers anticipated. You people love to blame inflation on ordinary people who got a few extra bucks in their pockets.
Haven’t see a toilet paper shortage in this area since last summer. I have seen other shortages but that is because we have a mass shortage of truck drivers and it is getting worse and worse. Many trucking companies are down 2/3 of their truckers which leave them to try to handle the best paying loads to maximize profits. Toyota started this JIT inventory system and it has finally bit us in the ass.

"So many people across the country are purchasing more goods online," Psaki said. "Maybe some of it is from habits that developed during the pandemic when people weren't leaving their homes. Some of it is because we've seen an economic recovery that has been underway for the last nine months... That is leading to a massive increase in volume. That's what's happening at ports."

That's what she said.

Don't spin it so hard next time.
Right its just a plain lie, no need to spin it any other way.

Stop buying food, medicine, clothes for your kids, and Christmas presents, you ungrateful peasants!

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday faulted Americans’ pandemic-time spending habits for rising prices and widespread supply-chain failures.

“What’s your message to Americans who are still so worried about their Christmas gifts on time, [and] Halloween?” a reporter asked Psaki at the daily White House press briefing. “Is this going to be happening at a fast enough pace?”

The White House’s message, Psaki replied, was that Americans were spending too much.

“Well, I think our message is that, one, what’s happening right now… is that so many people across the country are purchasing more goods online,” Psaki replied. “Maybe some of it is from habits that developed during the pandemic when people weren’t leaving their homes.”

“Some of it is because we’ve seen an economic recovery that has been underway for the last nine months,” she added. “That is leading to a massive increase in volume. That’s what’s happening at ports. But what we would tell people is we are addressing and attacking the supply chain issues, even with the increased volume, which is the root cause here.”
Psaki is 100 percent correct. There has been a massive increase in consumer demand.

As you can see below, consumer expenditures are at an all time high. You would be praising Trump for this if he were in office, because this is tremendously good news for our economy.

As a result in this spike of spending and consumerism, the number of shipping containers and the number of container ships at our California ports is also surging tremendously. This is overwhelming the system.

This is great news for our economy. We are busting at the seams!
