Losing Iraq on PBS tonite.

I may watch this even though PBS is a joke if you are looking for unbiased information. I supported the war initially and I regret that, but it did seem like things were somewhat stable before Obama called it done without even having a status of forces agreement.

I don't know what's right, but unless we plan on completely abandoning the M.E. (which I support fully), we have no business leaving Iraq in ruins. Leave the M.E. entirely, or fix what we broke.

Ron Paul is right on foreign policy.

We cannot 'fix' the ME

We must leave it to those who live there

we need to focus on our business and leave others business to them

That's not the question I was asking.
You say you watch television programming, but you seem to be indicating that there is some difference between watching television programming on a TV set or on your computer.

I don't understand what the difference is.

If you're watching the exact program online, there is no difference. You must be confused.

So you said you don't own a TV and denigrated TV as beneath you.

But you say you watch it online.

OK, that tells me everything I needed to know. Thank you for your honesty.

I said it was a waste of time. You're still confused.

He cannot read a post and make reasonable inferences from it. He's admitted so.
I also dont have a TV. Occasionally I look at some specific clip from a TV news show but that is not the same as sitting watching it all the time.

It's Bush's fault, yeah we know.

Who else is there to blame but the Decider. The Decider decided to kick inspectors out in order to start a war. Only an idiot would make that decision.

Obabble can't fix the USA....he should leave it.

Foo is having the neighborhood over for the show. Bring your EBT card.

Nope: PBS does a poor job on Iraq in my view. Who besides Bush can be blamed for losing the War against Iraq launched in 2003. Bush started the war and his reason was a lie.

Wmd. Wmd. Wmd!!!!!

Bush actually lied about having intelligence that lethal weapons were being concealed from UN inspectors to start a war.

So he lied about having intelligence.

Yes Bush lied on March 17 2003 when he told you and all of us that SH was without a doubt concealing the most lethal weapons ever devised from UN inspectors so war was necessary.

Such an old and worn out remark.

We knew they had shit because WE GAVE IT TO THEM.
So blame Bush, ad nauseum. But also blame Clinton, et.al

:eusa_hand:

Watched it online. Excellent account of both the Bush 2 and Obama failures in Iraq. Very impartial. David Patreus (sp?) was the real champion in the end. Marines had it right in Vietnam in terms of fighting an insurgent war. So did Gen. Patrues.

Spoiler Alert for those of you who are going to watch: it does not have a happy ending.

Cheney's reasons were true......Cheney wanted money, and made a bundle; since 1/09 however, it has been Obama's duty, that's the breaks.

Going into Iraq was Bush's mistake not working out a agreement to extend the status of forces agreement after the insurgency and outside terrorist groups had been beaten back was Obama's mistake.

15th post
WTF is wrong with the left? There was no ISIS until Obama. There was no invasion of Iraq until Obama. HE pulled the troops out and the left crowed about it. Now things have turned to shit and you want to blame Bush for what the idiot in chief did. What balls that takes. Afghanistan, Iraq, lybia, Syria, Iran, Russia, China and others more hostile now then they were 6 years ago and the only thing that changed is the idiot in the WH.

Obama allowed the "pull out" to become a "bug out" and then allowed Iraq's Shia dominated government to discriminate against Sunni, and run Sunni's out of Iraq Army. ISIS here we come!

We won the damn war the idiot in the WH, and the Iraqis are losing the peace. WTF is wrong with you people?

Again, I have to say the program was fair and impartial. Well done. I did not think PBS could pull it off without a left wing slant.
