Majority of California voters would keep Gov. Newsom in office in recall election, polls finds
CALIFORNIA
by: Los Angeles Times

A majority of likely California voters would keep Gov. Gavin Newsom in office if a recall election were held today, according to a new poll conducted as vaccinations in the state increase and the Democratic governor ramps up his campaign to fight the effort to remove him.

Among the 1,174 likely voters surveyed by the Public Policy Institute of California, 56% said they oppose the recall and 40% support it, with the remaining undecided. More than three-quarters of likely voters said the worst of the pandemic is over.

They claimed the same about Grey Davis.

Polls are designed to support the Reich.

And even if California doesn't want to keep him, the Left can steal the votes of the people like they stole the election from Trump.

It's a piece of cake for the Rats to do these things, they are experts at it. ;)

It's a lie, like everything else the MSM peddles.

A Times poll?....look this is just getting started...wait until there is a legitimate option announced for crying out loud...can't you all see through the fake news media games yet?....a poll this far out is worthless....and the LA Slimes knows it....

No kidding. Anyone with half a brain cell knew that the crazies in California would not only elect a dead baboon but claim it was doing a great job. So then you get something like newsom that can stand up of course he will keep office. In a state with normal humans he would have been removed after the first week.

Have you not learned about polls? CA did vote to recall a democrat resulting in a two term republican governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I never expected anything else. Chances are it's rigged.

So Issa is gonna cry again. Priceless!

Your desperation is humorous.

And there's a lot more that is a lot more obviously wrong with Gavin Newsom than there ever was with Grey-Out Davis.

The big thing that drove the recall effort against Davis was problems with the supply of electrical power failing to meet the state's needs. To be honest, I don't think Davis really deserved to be blamed as much for that as he was; this was a problem decades in the making, that just happened to come to a head when he was Governor.

Similar electrical-supply issues have happened recently, under Newsom, and he has been blamed, perhaps more than he deserves, for them. But that's the least of his troubles.

I absolutely agree. Gray Davis was railroaded. Newsom DOES deserve to be recalled though.

Typical of a Lib. You confuse desperation with COLD...EFFING RAGE. If your thugs in DC ram HR1 through on a tiebreaker vote, you folks aren't going to continue to be so smug. It really isn't wise to piss off 75 million people then ignore them as though they don't matter. It tends to set you up for...poor outcomes ;)
