Explains why we are getting hit so hard despite early lockdowns. Perhaps we are also too fat??!?! Amazing, our government told us to stay indoors, order food, drink alcohol and won't allow us to go to the gym. And they wonder why the virus is spreading and killing so many. Maybe if we were a healthier country overall and didn't dwell inside like bats we would all be feeling much better.

Lockdowns also stop unsuccessful presidencies that have a poor response to viruses. Lockdowns will not work if ended too soon as in our case due to pressure from this unsuccessful president.

Only way to "control" is to educate kids at a young age about calories, BMI and health risks of obesity.

I didn't suggest that trump could control our weight and our conditioning. You misread. I wrote about lockdowns, not weight control.

Lockdowns don't work but if we were a more fit nation then COVID would not be nearly as deadly. It is obvious the virus travels via AC vents.

You can lead a horse away from the sugar and salt, but you can't make him not eat. It's harder to keep kids away from empty calories in today's society than it is for a fat girl to maintain self-esteem while reading a ladies fitness magazine.
