You don’t need a disguise to walk around MIT. It’s a very open campus. You can even go right into the library on campus if you want to. They have a great selection of periodicals on a variety of lesser known academic topics.

I have not read or heard of anybody who says they don't work, except for mostly Trump supporters, since he is opposed for vanity reasons and the fact that he acts on his "gut". Masks, by themselves, may not work as well as they do in conjunction with social
distancing, crowd, club and bar avoidance. According to medical experts, masks do work. I wear a mask when going where there are people and try to shop during quiet hours. For me, it is not worth taking a chance by going maskless.
Masks help to prevent spittle from escaping and entering. Is it a catchall? No.

Of course you are going to protect yourself AND others by not passing the virus to others if you are wandering about in crowds. What happened is that the economy was opened too soon due to pressure from Trump, a huge mistake because if the virus spreads, people won't go to stores, restaurants, clubs, etc., the small business owners will not recover or struggle to survive for a time and then collapse. I speak from experience as a small business owner.

Trump gave the responsibility to the state officials, givernors/mayors, to do what they saw fit, regarding their states, THEY made the decisions on what to do and, when, not Trump.

Most states still have restrictions in place, some still have businesses closed down......Trump may have suggested opening up, for economic reasons but, the decision still was that of each individual state.

Right now, today, its all on the individual states, Trump is out of it.......they'll be no withholding of federal funds to states that have remained closed.......except for the ones who refused to do anything about the rioting, refused help then, screamed for money to rebuild.

I didn't suggest that trump could control our weight and our conditioning. You misread. I wrote about lockdowns, not weight control.
