My take is this is not cute. It shows a couple of things. The wolf is dominate, and the border collie was initially submissive. When the wolf went after the toy, the border collie's instinct to defend the toy was awakened, and s/he herded the wolf away from his/her vulnerable 'herd'.

Our dog, Roxy, is 3/4 border collie and 1/4 Australian Cattle Dog. She is submissive with our family, protective of our grandsons (2 & 4) and guards our house with a powerful bark. Once in a while I will use a flirt pole or a rope to play tug, I'm 6'2" and weigh 225 and she can almost pull me down with her strength.

BTW, she is very smart and learns quickly, understands dozens of words and has an internal clock- we never can sleep beyond 0700, and at 4pm, + or - 20 minutes or so she lets me know it's dinner time.
