LOL!! When you find that "perfect" ghost candidate, please tell us who it is!!
Trump was the tough medicine we needed. Its unfortunate that he didn't understand the role as president, he was locked-into his TV personality instead of never alienating any voters, like during the 1st debate. Thanks for acknowledging that dump is NOT presidential and I add, never was & never will be, period.Just follow the Trump playbook, but be much more presidential.

He did a lot of good things, but his management style sucked.
No, Liz Cheney recognized that trump incited the riot at the Capitol. You are just trying to spin the crimes of trump to your satisfaction. Cheney clearly said how she felt about trump and the Capitol mob:The GOP never embraced Trump. Liz Chaney and her ilk are scared because so many voters see the GOP for the scum that they are. Trump was elected because he acknowledged how poorly government serves the people. The Tea Party brought this to public attention years ago. Trump was an extension of that attitude. His success scares the hell out of the establishment GOP who are only in it for themselves.
Why did Liz vote to impeach Trump? Because Trump is an outsider. He didn't run for office to fatten his own purse, he ran to serve the USA. Such outrageous patriotism cannot be tolerated by the party.
Good question. I don't know and I don't care.Where would they go?The fear comes when Republicans think of the possibility of losing trump supporters.
You are so right. I saw a post on Facebook where a disgruntled person, a friend who is vacillating between Dem and Rep, was told to join the "Patriot Party." I just laughed. There is no such party and there may never be such a party. It will take years to create and develop a viable political party. It's difficult to imagine Trump's influence on the party decreasing to any significant degree any time soon.Liz Cheney: GOP Shouldn't Be 'Embracing' Trump Anymore

She is Right. The Republican Party needs to return to their political roots. trump does not represent those policies or ideals.
The fear comes when Republicans think of the possibility of losing trump supporters. Who are those supporters? Many are QAnon and outright racist. Does the GOP really want these moral degenerates in their party?
But I guess the normal Republicans have no choice but to try to win this. The loser has to start a new party without the massive GOP infrastructure. That's huge and long-term lift.
That is sad. Wyoming is admitting their relationship to Q.......Please continue years to hang your hope on trump. See how it turns out.....LOL Liz Cheney's constituents in Wyoming think she should resign, she has zero credibility.
Cheney's own constituents in Wyoming call on her to resign, exposing your thread as garbage.
This is a total reincarnation!I could support Ted. I think he sees what it takes to win now. Its all about jobs, jobs, jobs. The blue states make up about 74% of the US GDP, while the red states only make up about 24%. Energy production means much more in the red states. IMHO Ted and the other candidates know what policies will win. Just follow the Trump playbook, but be much more presidential.OK. Fair enough. Regarding #2. I see the GOP as scum. I was projecting my attitude onto other voters. Regarding grassroots GOP... I'm not so sure about the ratio of establishment vs grassroots GOP - I've become so disgusted with the whole lot that it's difficult to for me to even like the guy I voted for in the primaries in 2016 (Ted Cruz). The bottom line for me is that it appears that GOP politicians won't even stand up for each other- how can we expect them to stand up for the people they have sworn to serve?I agree with about 90% of your post. Here's where we disagree:The GOP never embraced Trump. Liz Chaney and her ilk are scared because so many voters see the GOP for the scum that they are. 1. 74m voted for Trump, that includes the "real grassroots GOP". The GOP "establishment wing" including "Never-Trumpers" (all ~100 of them) hate Trump, because he was so successful, and they suck.
2. No voters see the GOP as scum, the GOP did not lose one House seat in 2020, so you are just plain wrong. Reality is that the democrats lost House seats, and will lose the House in the 2022 mid-terms.
3. We agree why Liz voted to impeach Trump, which is why Mitt and the other senators voted that the impeachment was constitutional, when it isn't. Because GOP voters now expect results, like Trump's "promises kept" list:

Yeah, this story is far from over. Trump is the most significant political figure of my lifetime, and there will be plenty of reasons to continue to watch him carefully. And as always, it won't actually be about him - it will be about the behaviors of those around him, those who enable him.You are so right. I saw a post on Facebook where a disgruntled person, a friend who is vacillating between Dem and Rep, was told to join the "Patriot Party." I just laughed. The GOP is at a critical crossroads...as is our country. They can either reject trump and vote to impeach, which will prevent him from running for political office again...or they can let him off the hook and he will be around their necks for years to come. It is very doubtful that he will be convicted in the Senate. So, it looks like we need to add the Q on the end of GOP to create GOPQ.
As unlikely as it may seem right now, he could come back in 2024 and still have a significant following. I cannot in my widest dreams see voters allowing him to win office again, risking a repeat of the last several months. But stranger things have happened. I hope the real GOP finally understands that trump will always be attached to the QAnon movement and that their chances of governing with him as their leader has becoming less and less likely. Unless some more influential Republicans stand up and say trump is not the leader of the GOP, they will always be struggling with the trumpism/QAnon identity.

He did a lot of good things, but his management style sucked. Give Trump credit for taking everything they could throw at him and still had a very successful presidency.
Trump's presidency was a miracle in itself, the biggest upset in US election history. Hillary and the DNC actually colluded with and paid Russians for "dirt" on Trump, the "Steele Dossier". Obama used the power of the DOJ, FBI, CIA and other Federal agencies to illegally spy on and setup Trump for failure. Operations Crossfire Hurricane and Razor, the Mueller Investigation, Russian Collusion Hoax, the MSM's constant 95% negative coverage and "fake news", Never-Trump Republicans, the Lincoln Project, globalists of every stripe, the entrenched Deep State who all oppose Trump's policies, the planted leakers and whistle-blowers, and the RINOs who'd rather shill for K-Street than work for main street. Then add to all of that the outright hatred shown by the House democrats toward Trump, to the point of "non-crime" Impeachment Articles, twice!!

Ted Cruz & Grandpa Munster Are Twins & Here's 9 Times They Looked Spookily Similar
Besides his batty wisdom, his Tea Party politics, and his painfully horrible timing, there's one other thing that defines Republican candidate Ted Cruz. What's that, you ask? Well, it just so happens that Ted Cruz looks exactly like Grandpa Munster…www.bustle.com

The GOP spent five decades inadvertently creating these QAnons, but the outright racists were always part of their plan. So, it's accept the Qanon problems that resulted from their political handiwork, or, risk losing a significant portion of their base.Liz Cheney: GOP Shouldn't Be 'Embracing' Trump Anymore

Well, sorry Liz, but maybe the problem is that you've assfucked your constituents with your love of Wall St. and globalism, which is not the foible of only one party, and people are sick of your 'solutions' as they aren't solutions for them, so they felt the need to try something else and that something else was Trump.
It's amazing to me that both parties cannot see that Trump was a result of decades of unrest, not some crazy snapshot in time. They created Trump, both sides of the aisle. He is a symbol of the unrest that has not gone away, as much as they'd both like to dance around and try to kill the idea by shitting on the symbol. That never works and it won't work here either.
The underpinnings of that unrest are very real and remain. There will be another Trump - and that is what really scares these people. He shook their absolute iron grip on power on both sides of the aisle and that scared the living hell out of them. Fuck them all, each and every one of the traitorous bastards. They did it through years of their own malfeasance and it was only a matter of time.
