outh Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham sent GOP Leader Mitch McConnell a very clear message Wednesday night: Get on board with Donald Trump or get out.

Asked by Fox's Sean Hannity about the "swampiness" of the Kentucky senator, Graham answered this way:

"Elections are about the future. If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or the Senate, you have to have a working relationship with Donald Trump. Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? He is the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan. It's his nomination if he wants it. ... Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? ...

"I am not going to vote for anybody for leader of the Senate as a Republican unless they can prove to me that they can advocate an 'America First' agenda and have a working relationship with Donald Trump because if you can't do that you will fail."

Which reads like a threat, no? Graham is saying that McConnell needs to fix the relationship with Trump -- or else. Graham's... er... advice, comes just days after Trump called McConnell a "loser" in an interview with NPR and amid a growing trend among Republican Senate candidates who say they will not support McConnell for leader if they win their races.

There's no question that the on-again, off-again relationship between Trump and McConnell is currently in the off-again stage. Trump, unhappy with what he believes are McConnell's capitulations to the White House and Democrats in the Senate majority on things like raising the debt limit and President Joe Biden's infrastructure package, has taken to attacking McConnell publicly while privately working to find someone to challenge the GOP leader for primacy within the Senate. (Trump is also now referring to McConnell as "Old Crow" or, alternately "old broken-down Crow." And, no, I have no idea why Trump capitalizes "Crow.")

I don't know who is worse Groveling Ted Cruz or Fish Outta The Water Lindsey Graham.

Mitch McConnell is a clown as well.

The Republican Party is a joke.

Getting behind the incoming President is sort of important for someone who wants to be a leader.

How will McConnell- or any senator or rep- be able to get things done if they are oozing in hatred for their President?

Mitch hates trump.

trump's tried to get Mitch voted out of office but failed.

Mitch likes Joe, they've been friends in the Senate for over 30 years.

The Little Blue Dress Affair wasn't a joke. Four years of Democrat destroying the Executive Branch with planned and timed lies wasn't a joke. Indecent Democrats adopting the Alinsky method of destroying freedom and committing calumnies against decent opponents wasn't a joke. You seem so sadly desperate. Tissue?

Lindsey continues to "suck up" to Trump after telling him that his plans for a Jan 6 presser at the capitol was a bad idea.

This really is amazing to watch, all these grown men groveling before a juvenile buffoon, selling their souls just to keep their cushy gubmit jobs.

That said, Lindsey is right. Either McConnell manages a complete about-face or McCarthy can start measuring the drapes. It's probably too late already.

Lindsey wants to rule the Senate.

I dunno. I sort of doubt the gop senate does anything to Mitch, and he's run his last race anyway.

Amazing that Lady G got off his knees long enough to make that statement.

Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump?
In other words, can McConnell do absolutely f****** nothing, force the Senate to do nothing, tear up agreements, and just stand there and be a useless pile of s***? Well of course he can. Anyone can do that Lindsey. Find a mirror, go see.

Basically.
Good will be when we get sociocommunism dealt with with the 1954 Anticommunism Law exercised. Eisenhower had to deal with two vicious communist locksteppers before he could resolve the smaller crisis of Hitler's takeover of unwilling European nations. Most Europeans prefer freedom to a future in Siberia for the slightest offense. People around the world just want to be free of human rights' leeches that socialistic communists are. And today we're having that problem now until we relieve ourselves of the calumny Hillary Clinton spread to open the Alinsky way into soul killing slavery that Communism begets. Eisenhower's generation wanted to be sure future generations would not know communism by putting laws against it against it. But the brainiacs in the disjoint world of academia decided they would end Eisenhower's warning by devious methods of training insurrection and the Alinsky method of fooling free people into adopting the easy way out of governing wisely by an oligarchical vigilante gummint that would rep0lace the task of wise ruling set up by the beleaguered colonial founders to get the foot of totalitarianism off the necks of Americans for all time.

Not good enough for Hillary "I forget" Clinton. She sees how easy it was to get Joe Biden off the hook for his 47 years of stealing taxpayer money through lucrative foreign aid packages, the last of which he collected one billion dollars from foreign aid given to the third world country. Hillary just wants to ditch history and enjoy raw power even though her kind of power starves out people she hated as an academia product not acquainted with accountability to millions of people. Meanwhile, Joe screwed the Ukraine an earlier congress had bestowed enough support that they could fend off Russia from takeover, because the Ukraine knew what it was like to have a million citizens murdered by Russian communists in the KGB. And most of them were farmers out in the sticks where it was impossible to defend them from the starvation techniques the KGB delivered against a country they used as their breadbasket. Not much of a reward for them supplying Russia with food produce, which ceased after all those needless murders. Talk about a foot shoot. Russians were having trouble getting enough food to keep Moscow residents alive in the early 50s without the farmers they did away with just 5 years earlier. Small oligarchical academians have no clue on how to keep millions of people prosperous. The trouble with some countries that would like to be free is that they didn't have a George Washington. They didn't have a Benjamin Franklin, a Madison, a Jefferson, an Adams, a Monroe and others who sought the light of liberty for the common man for the first time in history. Our founders figured out through months and months of deliberations how they would provide for everyone, and that decision to make all men equals exceeded any other governmental method of rule, and it ensured we would not have a small group of extremists who cheat at the polls, purchase favors from the press to lie against their opponents so that they ultimately would be the ones pushing buttons on the majority population of ordinary people who would trade freedom for free meals at first, but Heaven help the following generations of slaves the communists turn ordinary people like farmers and useful production line workers who couldn't afford symphony tickets and vacations in pleasant climated entertainment capitals, much less gasoline to let their children visit a National Park just for the knowledge of geography, nature, and the fun of it..
