One reason is that there isn't media pressure or focus on democrat administrations like there is on republicans and another reason is that democrats have a tax-exempt (thank you John McCain) propaganda machine in Media Matters that operates 24/7 with a little army of investigators who are dedicated to disecting conservative speech and uncovering every hour of every day in the lives of (only) republican politicians. The third reason is a combination of the first two. Democrat administrations enjoy the total support of the liberal media no matter how corrupt or incompetent the administration is. How could any administration survive credible charges of using the IRS to punish political enemies? Not only did the Hussein administration protect the criminal behavior the IRS but nobody was even fired. Operation Fast/Furious that shipped over 3,000 illegal weapons to Mexican drug cartels with allegedly hundreds of innocent Mexican citizens murdered with the weapons and at least one American Border Patrol officer killed was met with a ho-hum attitude in the media and nobody was prosecuted much less fired. Last spring a democrat operative and Sanders supporter opened fire on a republican baseball team. He may have had contact with the democrat leadership while living for a month in D.C. but thanks to the disinterest of the media (and timid republicans) nobody even remembers the name of the perp less than a year later. Who could envision a female left wing clown made up to look like the Press Secretary to ridicule the administration? That's how the left works these days. It's ironic that most of Hollywood's hypocrite celebrity elite would be prevented from purchasing a firearm during a democrat administration and might get a visit from the FBI if they threatened the President with everything from assault to arson and dismemberment and murder but the left gets a pass during a republican administration. health care and education for all inmates and immigrants they pledge to serve.

Yeah, today "chaos" means working hard for Americans and beating global competition.

I remember working with a guy who complained about everything. He blamed his failure in sales on the marketing team, on the economy, on being sick for a period of time and unable to "get back to normal (his normal was typical lazy Canadian"). Every weekly meeting with this guy and one of his bum chums was like pulling teeth, he would complain and when it was my turn to speak I'd say honestly, "I don't know about others but I had a good week".

He would chat with people about sports and politics, while I was out banging out sales. I didn't care about it, because I received nice commission checks. THAT'S how it is in the real world, it's not some government flop house where you work if you want to and China eats your lunch.

You want to beat the Communists and global socialists who have America on their bullseye? Well, you go to bat everyday or leave for some fluffy consulting gig.

If Trump does as he can, the world will not exploit America for the next 7 years.

With all the chaos and "palace intrigue" of the Trump Administration, it means they can write a book and collect a very tidy sum ($500K to $1M easy) for doing so. At this point, that is about the only good reason for wanting to work in the WH.

It's really quite well known in the political world that the folks Trump's hired, for the most part (there are some exceptions) are not now nor were they before the "top guns" in the world of governance, communications and policy execution. Coming out of Trump's WH, one will surely have gained a lot of insight and experience about what not to do and how not to do it, but that sort of experience is only good when accompanied with a deep understanding of how to do most leadership-role things one might be called to do. It's essentially the same idea as not asking a mendicant about making money, there's useful input to be obtained from such individuals, but it's not the sort of input for which one need engage such a person as a financial advisor on a payroll.
