"Forty-three years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled abortion to be a constitutional right. Three years later, Illinois Republican Rep. Henry Hyde pushed Congress into banning almost all federal funds from being used for abortions.

That ban, an annual budget rider known as the Hyde Amendment, has saved more than two million children from death in the womb, according to a new report from Charlotte Lozier Institute Associate Scholar Dr. Michael New.

Naturally, Democrats want it gone. "

This law saved two million babies from abortion. Democrats want it gone. - Hot Air

"Likewise, the head of a Texas-based abortion group said in the press release that “Hyde hurts our clients and their families because it forces them to pay out of pocket..."

YOU want to have sex? Go For it.

YOU get pregnant? YOUR problem.

YOU want to have an abortion to eliminate the consequences of YOUR choice / actions? YOU pay for it!

Baby parts are a profitable business to democrats....it's no surprise they want to nationalize their industry.....

It should be gone. It unfairly forces poor women to pay for abortions they cannot afford.

You're not saving babies, you're forcing poor women to have children they cannot afford to support, creating more welfare and problems for the working poor, and condemning those children to lives of poverty. This disadvantages the most economically vulnerable families. The people who can least afford another child, can be forced to have one. What a victory.

Translation: we need more baby body parts to make bigger profits....

So what you're saying is married couples who can't afford to have children should not have sex.

Like that will happen.

There's a more simple solution than picking my pockets to pay for their immoral personal choices - stop spreading their legs.

Again, It is not MY responsibility to pay for YOUR mistake. Freedom of choice comes with consequences for the person making the choice.

Yeah... Cuz so many married couples get abortions... Just more racist policy from the left...

If the republican party had ever had any intent of using this "issue" for anything other than winding you up, they would have dealt with this via legislation long ago.

You're being played by "both" sides, locate a clue, this is settled law.

Too many Libs want to kill babies at every stage of pregnancy - even outside the womb - to ever let it be 'handled' completely. Besides this legislation does 'handle' forcing everyone to pay for others' personal choices...and Libs don't like it.
