Liberal Humor: Maryland Dem Calls for Lockdown Protesters to Be Killed
It isnāt easy to work together in a bipartisan spirit to reach a consensus with people who despise you and want you dead. Consider the debate over the ChiCom virus lockdown.
It has become increasingly obvious that the lockdown is causing more harm than good and needs to end yesterday. Countermoonbats are beginning to chafe at de facto house arrest, and to insist on their First Amendment right to peaceably assemble, regardless of whether the incessantly wrong experts approve. The response from the left is to fantasize sneeringly about patriots dying of COVID-19.
The Washington Examiner quotes Len Foxwell, chief of staff to Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot, on the topic of protesters against the never-ending, economy-crushing lockdown:
In response to the ensuing outrage, Comptroller Franchot proclaimed that he remains ā100 percent supportive of Len Foxwell.
Foxwellās own response was to invoke the ājust kiddingā defense and to imply that it is okay to want to kill lockdown protesters in part because they are white supremacists. You can justify any extreme of malice toward people you have denounced as white supremacists, even if the accusation is a jarring non sequitur. Foxwell sniffs that his snarky call for mass murderā¦

It is not Darwin but Wuhan coronavirus that would be called upon to work black magic. A reader might assume that if the virus failed to do the job, Foxwell wouldnāt mind pumping in Zyklon B.Letās lure them into a big, big warehouse (weāll call it something real classy to suit their refined sensibilities, like āAmerica MAGA Platinum Palaceā) with the promise of all the unfiltered Camels they can smoke, all the Salisbury steak and banana moonpies they can eat, washed down by all the Old Crow and Icehouse they can drink.
Plus, autographs from Scott Baio and pics with Tawny Kitean, posing all sexy and everything on a sportscar, just like in that old Whitesnake video! Get them in, bar the door and then let Darwin work his magic.

Foxwell may have learned about the lockdown protesters by reading a publication from across the country, Portlandās Willamette Week. There, a recent Columbia Journalism School graduate named Tess Riski specializes in demonizing people she regards as āalt-right.ā This includes those who have had enough of the tyrannical lockdown. Writes Tess,āā¦was in direct reference to the leaders and followers of āThe Patriot Movementā ā a collection of several alt-right, white supremacist and violent anti-government organizations that gestated in this country following seminal events such as Waco and Ruby Ridge.ā
Itās a short jump from wanting the government to let you go back to work so that you can earn a living and wanting to violently overthrow the government ā provided progressive propagandists are telling the story. If some of this sounds like a call for a violent uprising, thatās no accident, says Randy Blazak, a Portland consultant who studies extremist movements. āThereās a much darker element of this: to push for their boogaloo, which is the second American Revolution.ā
