Anybody watch Fox News this morning? Rick Santorum was on with Chris Wallace and Chris was hammering him for not supporting gays in the military.

Chris quoted some anti-integration guy from 1945 and said that Rick Santorums reasoning is exactly the same! Imagine that! Comparing Black Civil Rights to the Gay Agenda!

Didn't know Fox was so Liberal. I should have known after looking at their Sunday Night TV lineup.

Actually, nobody is comparing civil rights struggles. What IS comparable is the discrimination. FACT: The military AND the American public did NOT support the integration of the Armed Forces and yet Truman integrated the military anyway.

How is that different than allowing gays to serve under the same rules and regulations as heterosexuals?

Also, the repeal of DADT is not a partisan issue. Over 70% of Americans supported the repeal of DADT so a Fox pundit taking the position in support of repeal hardly makes them "liberal".

Did you know that Newscorp is a "green" company? That's right...they often tout their carbon neutral status. Oh yeah, they also provide benefits to the GAY domestic partners of their employees.

What ever will you watch now?

Fox News is more than what most Socialist/Progressive Democrats have been told. For example,Rupert Murdoch has held numerous fundraisers for Hillary Clinton. He was a big Clinton supporter last time around. Most Democrats don't know that though. Murdoch just created a niche and that niche has been incredibly successful. Most of the MSM in the U.S. is Left/Democrat-leaning. That's just the way it is. But many Americans were starving for some alternative Conservative-leaning Media. And Murdoch delivered it via Fox News. They have become THE alternative to Liberal MSM.

Murdoch above all,is a brilliant businessman. And his politics are surprisingly not what most Democrats think they are. Fox News is not as Conservative as most think either. They are moreso a Neocon/Socialist-leaning Network now. They now represent the politics of a Michael Bloomberg. And Bloomberg is not a Conservative. They may be less Left than CNN & NBC but that's not hard to accomplish. That's my take on Fox News anyway. God Bless and have a great day.

Your post is on the head: Fox News is actually centrist, and just as Left as it is Right.

Not that you need it, but let me add some validation, the Liberal roll-call on Fox:

Alan Colmes
Susan Estrich
Bob Beckel
Juan Williams
Mara Laiason
Mort Kondrache
Kirsten Powers

Pat Caddell
Greta Van Sustren (defended Clinton)
Geraldo Rivera

Thanks and yes i see more balance on Fox News than i see on other Cable News Networks or major Networks. They are now more about representing the politics of a Michael Bloomberg. And Bloomberg isn't Conservative. He's very much a Neocon/Socialist-type instead. I think they're just less Left than CNN,NBC,NPR,and others. But that isn't hard to achieve. Thanks for your good post. It shows that there really is balance at Fox News.

Alan Colmes,
Kirsten Powers.
I used to listen to Alan Colmes on the local 103.7 Talk on my way home from work until even they got rid of him. It seems all that man could do is insult listeners and hang up on them. He should thank his lucky stars that Fox throws him a bone every now and then.

Kirsten Powers. Lucky for her she's beautiful because she's dumber than a bag of hammers. How many times have we seen her get the "deer in the headlights" look in response to her talking points?

Here in NY, @ WABC770, which now features Rush, Hannity, Grant and Aaron Klein, all conservatives...they tried numerous libs from Mario Cuomo to Hartmann to several that wound up on AirAmerica...(R.I.P.)...
...and I tried 'em all....they mouth claptrap out of some fantasy world, and listeners saw right through 'em all.

Wonder why libs can never explain why the Left cannot put on good talk radio...

I don't see what the business practices of the company have to do with anything. They are selling a product, plain and simple. It just so happens that their product has a political nature to it, and thus they have sought out to cater to a certain part of the market. How they run their business has nothing to do with what kind of product they choose to offer.

Did you not read what I wrote? Chris Wallace did on Fox News just this morning. Liberals always say Fox is owned by the NeoCon$ but I didn't know NeoCon$were supportive of the Gay Agenda!

Yes, she did. You failed to understand the response, however.

Advocating equal protection and equal access rights for gays is not a ‘left/right’ issue; that someone supports such rights for gays does not make him ‘liberal.’

There’s no support for the thesis of your thread.

Liberals always say Fox is right wing, are they all wrong? Yeah, everyone else is wrong, not you.

You can't even support your own answer.

Advocating for the repeal of DADT isn't a partisan issue. Support for the repeal of DADT does not make fox or Chris Wallace "liberal". Fox has a decidedly right wing slant and denying that makes you look silly.

Yes they are right of center but no more to the right then CNN is to the left.

You really should read what is actually written, not what you imagine is written.

Just a suggestion.

“The CNN programming studied tended to cast a negative light on Republican candidates—by a margin of three-to-one. Four-in-ten stories (41%) were clearly negative while just 14% were positive and 46% were neutral. The network provided negative coverage of all three main candidates with McCain faring the worst (63% negative) and Romney faring a little better than the others only because a majority of his coverage was neutral. It’s not that Democrats, other than Obama, fared well on CNN either. Nearly half of the Illinois Senator’s stories were positive (46%), vs. just 8% that were negative. But both Clinton and Edwards ended up with more negative than positive coverage overall. So while coverage for Democrats overall was a bit more positive than negative, that was almost all due to extremely favorable coverage for Obama.” [2]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNN_controversies

If Fox News is rightwing, then why does the host of Fox News Sunday attack a Presidential Candidate for his stance on Gays in the Military?

Hey, I watch a TV show and the host sounds like a left-winger. Just because a bunch of anonymous posters on a message board insist that he's a righty doesn't make it so. Amirite?

And who says CNN is leftwing? Seems to me they give more facetime (interviews) to Ron Paul than Fox News does (at least when I'm watching). Explain that one!
