Let's talk about an oft repeated falsehood.

I wish I had a dollar for every time Democrats have bloviated some wild hypothetical Trump <fill in the blank> Armageddon.
You've been made comfortably numb by the frequency of the outrages. Far too many to list. The latest example of Armageddon, for lack of a better term, is that Trump's candidacy is viable. His political career, along with his freedom, should have ended when he conspired to steal the election.

Who is in charge?
I wish we knew

If you think of it like the mafia there is no Godfather telling everyone what to do

But like ants that share the same DNA everyone knows what the common goal is

LMAO you left wingers are insane :itsok: Is there anything that doesn't outrage you fruitcakes on the left? Green grass outrages you. The combustion engine outrages you. Air conditioners, stoves, dishwashers outrage you. Dairy, meat, anything with BBQ sauce on it. :cuckoo:

Break the law and you get prosecuted.

There is no deep state. It’s a paranoid conspiracy bit of fiction.

It’s QAnon shit

The Dems have not weaponized the DOJ. If they had Gaetz and Jordan and Comer would be targets

Trump DOES want to weaponized the DOJ. He tried his first time round and was prevented to by the saner people around him.

Those people would not be in a second Trump Admin. They would be replaced by the likes of Kash Patel and a John Eastman

It's instructive to think about why the myth of the deep state is so popular with Repubs. It certainly serves a few purposes for the orange menace. It gives The Following an amorphous entity to hate. It builds on the Repub's distrust of government. The idea trump is going to make things better by eliminating a fictional entity gives his base something to rally behind. It provides trump with a justification to fire career civil servants and replace them with, as JD said, "his people."

Over and over when the subject of Don's promise he will use the DoJ to go after his enemies comes up (a promise we have no reason he will try to fulfill), specious comparisons are made to his own prosecution.

Trump Wanted to Order Justice Dept. to Prosecute Comey and Clinton

WASHINGTON — President Trump told the White House counsel in the spring that he wanted to order the Justice Department to prosecute two of his political adversaries: his 2016 challenger, Hillary Clinton, and the former F.B.I. director James B. Comey, according to two people familiar with the conversation.

The lawyer, Donald F. McGahn II, rebuffed the president, saying that he had no authority to order a prosecution. Mr. McGahn said that while he could request an investigation, that too could prompt accusations of abuse of power. To underscore his point, Mr. McGahn had White House lawyers write a memo for Mr. Trump warning that if he asked law enforcement to investigate his rivals, he could face a range of consequences, including possible impeachment.

The encounter was one of the most blatant examples yet of how Mr. Trump views the typically independent Justice Department as a tool to be wielded against his political enemies. It took on additional significance in recent weeks when Mr. McGahn left the White House and Mr. Trump appointed a relatively inexperienced political loyalist, Matthew G. Whitaker, as the acting attorney general.

The unavoidable reality you folks keep avoiding about the prosecution of Trump for his crimes is they were all signed off on by grand juries. Making a mockery of the allegation it is the Dem's doing or the doing of Joe Biden. After all,
both grand jurors and trial jurors are summoned from the same pool of eligible citizens. The level of paranoia it requires to believe the people making up those juries are controlled by Dem's is equivalent to the paranoia required to believe a presidential election held across 50 disparate states can be rigged.

I understand the idea that Don's prosecutions aren't corrupt goes against every lie you've been told by him and RWM for months. Lies told so many times it's become second nature for you to believe them. As always they are absent any real evidence. Was there evidence of tampering with the grand juries or the trial juries? No. Is there physical, testimonial, and documentary evidence of crimes being committed? Yes. Are there credible allegations the evidence presented to the juries has been tampered with? No.

The Following has nothing to rely on but a false narrative created by a convicted criminal and his defenders. Defenders like fellow criminal Steve Bannon. So the next time you regurgitate the "but Biden" talking point realize you do nothing but humiliate yourselves.
He didn't do it the first time around, there's no reason to think he'll do it this time either.

As we know from the Mueller report Don McGahn convinced him not to prosecute. They'll be no Don McGahn's in the next trump admin if there is one. There is every reason to believe he'll do it again next time since he already did it.

TRUMP! obviously trusted his advice, which means there will be another one in his next administration, starting next January.
