Let's have a conversation

My point is dims are constantly doing this stuff. Making up stuff just because they'll have an argument because they don't have anything else.

Some right here on USMB may have been insensitive or flippant or joking about the D being killed in MINN? Maybe me? As I said, I am numb to it all.

Pretty blonde DEM lady shot up if I remember right? At 1AM or something? Her and Husband Answered the door? Both shot? I thought maybe Husband set it up at first hearing of it.

I don't remember any crazy blatant offenders?

It seems that Trump has supported someone like Kirk, who is perceived as racist. This could be a significant mistake on his part. Make racists great again! lol. :)

👉 The U.S. government should not support racism because it contradicts the fundamental American principles of equality, justice, and equal opportunity for all individuals. Officially, the U.S. government rejects racism and actively works to eliminate it through laws, policies, and initiatives aimed at promoting racial equity and justice.

The government enforces longstanding civil rights laws such as the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits racial discrimination in employment, education, housing, and federally funded programs. These protections ensure no person is excluded from participation or denied benefits based on race, color, or national origin.

Recent Executive Orders from President Biden emphasize advancing racial equity and addressing systemic racism as a national priority, recognizing the persistent disparities and human costs of racial injustice. The government’s role includes enforcing anti-discrimination laws, combating hate crimes, improving access to opportunity, and fostering unity among diverse communities.

Supporting racism would undermine constitutional rights, harm social cohesion, perpetuate inequality, and violate both law and moral standards upheld by the country. Instead, the U.S. government commits to combating racism and building a more inclusive society for all Americans.bidenwhitehouse.archives+5

You seem to have TDS. You want the Country to fail as you act superior, proudly stating "I did not vote for the Blob" a few pages back. That's a vote for Obiden open borders You dumb Oxyen.

St. Ronnie the Wise said, 'if we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on Earth.' The last thing that I want is for this country to fail. I'm just not blinded by the cult of personality common to BOTH parties, MAGA Trumpers and HOPE Obammers. This country is barreling towards financial ruin and each new president seems h3llbent on increasing the damage over the last. Brain dead Biden was essentially a corpse onstage during his debate with Trump and he STILL was able to turn the OH SO GREAT MAGA Patriarch into a slap happy little girl by goading him into an argument about their golf handicaps - embarrassing to see on the world stage. You're not a lib, so there's at least some hope for you, but I implore you to open your eyes and see Trump not as a 'savior,' but as yet another in a line of presidents who will end up doing more damage than good.

You and Anton both are king and queen of the non-sequitur. I'll let you two work out the specifics on that one.

I'm a movie buff, what party affiliation is that associated with? My Dad is history nut, what party affiliation is that associated with? One of my buddies is a car nut, what party affiliation is that associated with?
You may want to think about the poltical overtones of guns vis-a-vis the 2nd Amendment compared to cars and movies. You may sound less crazy. Though I doubt it.

Not kidding. You seem to believe powerful people are entitled to use their influence to tyrannically disparage and malign institutions of higher education because you believe they are a waste of taxpayer money and/or do not produce results up to your personal standards.

1.) I didn’t say anything about powerful people.

2.) I’m not the only one who feels this way.

3.) I specifically referred to the world’s standards and how we rank compared to them, not mine.
The department of education is not an island or an isolated entity from these institutions. These institutions depend on funding via Pell Grants, research grants and other federal funds.

Why does any of this matter when half our kids can’t find Denmark on a map?

It seems to be less about quality education and more to do with your infatuation with INSTITUTIONS.
You're just proving my point.

What point?
How many university curriculums teach transgenderism? In what form? How to be one, or perhaps just basic awareness? Do you even know?

Did you expect that I would count them?

A quick Google search yielded many hits including websites that have lists of LGBTQ-friendly schools, most of which offer gender and transgender courses, workshops and support groups.
I don't, because I'm hetero, and not really interested in such a 'liberal ideology' when it affects less than 1% of the population. It certainly doesn't affect me personally, so I don't see the urgency in eradicating it, scorched earth, from society. This is only a hot button issue because of religious norms, especially X-tianity.
That’s just left propaganda. For me and many others, including many Christians, it’s not about eradicating transgenderism because we simply don’t care. It’s a lifestyle choice that has no bearing on our lives.

It only became a hot button issue when they started going into girls’ locker rooms and demanding we guess their gender and pronouns.
Through religious donors (influence), the government is currently laser focused on maligning this particular small group of people into hiding through shame and possibly even legislation. It is selective enforcement of the illusion of our 'guaranteed rights'. Malign MAGA/democrats/women/minorities/etc. into hiding in similar fashion, expect said groups to retaliate. It doesn't excuse murder or any other political violence, but ignoring tyranny? One does at their own peril. Critical thinking. Try it.

Democrats tried imposing mandates during Covid and those who refused the vaccines were shamed, had their livelihoods threatened and were hounded on social media as The Utouchables (my words). It was starting to look like the goddamn Indian caste system.

Both sides are guilty of imposing their own brands of tyranny. The Democrat brand of tyranny is just more subtle.

Critical thinking. Try it.
Should the government dare to try maligning the majority, it should be burnt to the ******* ground in 24 hours. But we've become a 10-ply ultra soft society that puts up with 'soft' tyranny like taxes (see: tariffs) and more and more regulation of our lifestyle. Dare to revolt against them? The gov't will have no quarter in ruining everything about you. The people really running the country are an exclusive club. A club that gives zero ***** about us. And we're not in it.

You’re probably right on all counts but regarding transgenderism, I would be content to just keep the biological males out of girls’ locker rooms and competing against their own biological genders in sports. Beyond that, I don’t care.
As you admitted, It doesn't affect you personally. Why should your opinion be given any consideration or value? :dunno:
I didn’t ask for consideration, nor did I ascribe any value to it. :dunno:
Yeah. It's a lazy debate tactic used by partisan lightweights. Maybe stop doing it.

I was giving you shit because you spouted the pat word that is the current trend among those on the left (a lazy debate tactic itself) mostly by partisan lightweights to convey a hyperbolic, ersatz sense of urgency. Like the word “racist”, it has become devoid of all meaning. Maybe stop doing it.
Beyond losers with low IQ/self esteem, no one really leans on the superiority logic.

Yes. They are called elitists. Or as I refer to them, assholes. Get over it. These morons don't personally affect your life.

Have I indicated in any that I think these things affect me personally?
Truth is subjective to the teller.

No it’s not.
Try me. I bet I could get pretty damn close.
Please, do tell. I would love to see what ridiculous assumptions you’ve made about me.

Good, bad? :auiqs.jpg: Dude, nobody ever really cared about the VP until Trump's populism. Social media made this a fake outrage for magaturds.
Bullshit. Republicans and conservatives were complaining about her shirking her border duties that she was specifically tasked with long before Vance ever entered the picture.

I take back what I said before. Conversation isn't working anymore. Sorry Charlie, I'm going to keep preaching your truth but we just can't make peace with people who don't want to listen.

I've watched several videos of Kirk's "conversations" over the last few days.

They are the standard "I'm 100% right, you're 100% wrong" crap coming from both him and the liberal.

That's a debate, not a conversation. Nothing constructive is created in debates like that. No common ground or new ideas come from that. Kirk was just another hardcore partisan ideologue. Both ends have plenty of them.
Never resulted in compromise or a middle ground

I've seen him get schooled by some of those students. He went to Oxford; he was out of his pay grade there.
Time stamp when you say he was out of his pay grade IM2

I say you are a lying sack of vermin shit.

Prove me wrong.

He's just there to recruit. I'm sure it was effective, but it certainly wasn't constructive.

Just tap into existing vague rage and give it a focus, that's it. That's "politics" now.
You clearly don’t watch the videos you comment on.

As much as I despise Al Sharpton and what he has done to divide our country, I would be horrified if he had been assassinated. That has no place in our country and no decent person would EVER cheer or mock someone's brutal murder.

I know, that's because you're a sane human being. Those who cheer somebody being assassinated are extremely dangerous to me and should be put on a watch list if anything else.

I believe MAGA would be beside themselves with glee, if Sharpton were assasinated.
