Leading off with a lie doesn’t bode well for your “discussion”!Kamala wants price controls. That means the government will tell bakeries how much they can sell a loaf of bread for. So, lets say the govt says a loaf of bread cannot be sold for more than $2. But the bakery can't produce a loaf of bread and sell it for $2 without incurring a financial loss on every loaf. So what happens? The bakery goes out of business and there is no bread to buy. But a black market bakery opens up and sells loaves for $3 and everyone buys bread from them at midnight. price controls have never worked but have been tried many times in many places, including the USA under other presidents.
What’s the lie?Leading off with a lie doesn’t bode well for your “discussion”!

If Krogers charges $80 for a pint of ice cream that’s not price gouging. It’s bad business.No. You’re lying again.
She wants to stop price gouging.
Nothing else you wrote is worthy of comment.
Yes. This is why price controls lead to food shortages. Then rations. Then starving.Kamala wants price controls. Trump’s worse.because the alternative is Harris. Really not that hard a concept to grasp.
Do we want more freedom, peace and wealth? Or do we want to continue down the path of death and destruction that Harris and Xiden have been taking us? A record number of people are already worse off then prior to Harris and Xiden taking office, and now Harris wants to bring in Hugo Chavez style price controls....people will be stealing animals from zoos to eat if she's elected
There is so much more to it than that. First, the president is not a dictator so she couldn't do price controls in the first place. Second, I guess she could decide that prices are a national emergency and start issuing decrees like they did with Covid. Anytime they want to impose their socialist policies, all they have to do is declare a national emergency for any reason, bringing on socialism. Third, if she could do price controls, why not do it DEI style, selling loaves of bread to the so-called disadvantaged, minorities, or gender changers for a cheaper price than to the rich? Fourth, the left are purposely trying to put small businesses out of business so that only the Walmarts, Amazons, and McDonalds are left and then they will impose government controls of all kinds on those remaining mega businesses.Kamala wants price controls. That means the government will tell bakeries how much they can sell a loaf of bread for. So, lets say the govt says a loaf of bread cannot be sold for more than $2. what I said in the OP is economic fact. Price controls have never worked because the entire concept is a flawed economic theory. The result is always shortages of necessities and business failures. justify your position or STFU and go away.No you didn't. Get back to me when you actually have something meaningful to discuss.
